Folks, lets move on from this circular discussion. Members are asking for assistance via group buys, and our site has always offered to help via established and experienced group buy leaders. Whether it costs more or less, it comes down to wanting to obtain the Steelbook somehow, and still getting it at a fair price (vs Ebay). Any small fee for HDN group buys goes back to support this site's operation, maintenance, giveaways and other community associated costs. Any tips you decide to send to other group buy leaders are up to you and for the effort it takes to constantly package up all of these items, and provide customer service via countless messages, and bundling with other items that a group buy leader may be holding. Our members have several options to add titles to their collection. How stock is allocated at the individual company can be addressed to whatever company in question-we have no idea how they choose to do this-this is their decision. If the USA one is cancelled, I think it's only fair that the other GB be cancelled lol. Will wait and see. I'm very thankful for the prior GBs hosted by HDN staff and members.

As for this release, I'd like to get it, but I also hope there's a 1/4 slip available.

It's not HDN's fault its cancelled pretty sure HDN staff are disappointed too but the (Masterblaster) worldwide GB is Open still so lets gets back on to topic now

The BB VMB is very easy to find and keep in mind it was empty.

To me the main function of a Group Buy is for a releases that's not available to order direct

Its not an issue when its a release that's not going to sell out on first day and would not affect anyone when that happens trying to order directly as they would in most cases have ordered on day 1 going live so I personally don't mind a group buy in that situation

Group Buys to me is its there for a releases from a retailer that you cant order direct to your location
Examples like FutureShop/Blufans/Target/Best Buy/HDzeta and a few more I'm sure I haven't listed

In saying all that there will be times when you cant order directly due to work or away from home with no decent internet access
In my opinion its ok for me for a Group Buy to exist for a release but the amount of stock should not be that it will severely affect someone ordering directly and not to be used if you already ordering directly
especially with a release that's very limited

Part of the Fun with a release like this is taking part in trying to order directly and getting your order in and also it is cheaper to order direct than a group buy

Group buys are a brilliant service and very useful for releases you cant order direct and praise goes to those who run a group buy and the hard work they do as without them we be lost trying to get releases we cant get ourselves

Agreed 100%. Certain individuals are always going to abuse the system and order directly and also thru GB's.
GB are a great way to get SteelBooks you may otherwise find hard to obtain and I personally have no problem when it's done in a spirit of generosity and comradeship. When a certain host starts treating them purely as a money making machine then that's when I have issues. I believe this is also abusing the system.
I certainly don't believe that worldwide GB's should be run by one individual. Not only is that stifling as far as cornering the market, it is also logistically unwise. Hubs work very well because they split the globe into manageable regions (UK, America, Asia etc) so why not carry this over into GB's?

I like this artwork more than any other Avengers SteelBook, but I still feel like the front doesn't do the movie justice. I like the back a lot, though, because it matches the front of the WWA Thor SteelBook.

Maybe trying to cram all of the Avengers onto the front of the case is just too much, or maybe it's just because I didn't like Captain America's suit in the movie, and this has it plastered on the front of it? I don't know. Maybe I'll like the lenticular. I think it would be cool if the lenti has the Tesseract front and center with energy radiating from it.
