They smell the money. It's only logical I'm afraid. The releases are beautiful, but the print run is too high.

I might get a type a and lenti, but I'm not sure yet.

I agree anything above 4K is to high a print run and then really is not limited. Could even be 10K which would be crazy. Would rather have a lower print run and possibly miss out. I know here come the negatives.
I'm sorry but if there askin $50 plus high shipping so basically $60-65 a copy better be limited and 5K is not. Why did they change all the rest of that Nova Line have been 4K or less. John Wick and Lone Survivor were 4K. Drive was less

I have asked a question on NovaMedia Facebook
Is the International Print run 5,000
Is the Local Korea Print run 5,000
Is the total between Local and International then 10,000 or is it 5,000 between Local and International

In regards to the Print Run
I don't mind if the overall print run is 10,000 as it means a good chance of getting an order in and Group Buys and resellers allocated stock are not going to affect the ability to order direct

But if its only 5,000 overall between Local and International then the international print run cant be 5,000 its more likely will be only 2,500
That will make it extremely difficult to get an order in with group buys and resellers been allocated stock in advance

I rather it is 10,000 overall so all can be in with a chance of getting an order in

Thanks for the tag @harry

wow, so much new info to take in.. the extra's look really good, plus a couple of lenti cards:cigar:

sell out in four minutes:rofl: the slip C seems to be the least favourite and may well be the last to go, is it hawkeye that puts people off?

I'm looking forward to getting the 3D disc as my hmv steelbook didn't have it.
middle of may for release, just around the corner:oohyeah::oohyeah::woot::cigar:

what has been the print run in the past,
4,000 total
2,000 local
2,000 international ???

if thats the case, then if it's 10,000 total, that is quite a large increase:OMG: but everyone that wants one will most likely get one??

That's why I have asked them to clarify the print run
With previous releases when it was 4,000 overall and this was split between Local and International
They then would list the international print run as 2,000

The Avengers Steelbook
On Facebook they posted 2 announcements for Avengers Steelbook
For Local Customers
For International Customers

They have Listed Local Korea print run 5,000
They have Listed International print run 5,000

Those extras look beautiful. I hope I'll be able to secure one of the full slips. Also I'm still so confused. I'm reading the comments and some people are saying 12 pm, some are saying 12 am, some are saying...I don't know. I mean that for when the preorder goes live on Friday in the UK. Is it 12 oclock day time (when the sun is up) or 12 at night? Or more simply, because I still might get confused, 12 oclock or 24/00 oclock? Thanks guys. (and sorry for the dumb question. I missed Big Hero 6 and I really don't want to miss this one)

Bad news

NovaMedia have replied
Total 5k (Local 2,500 + International 2,500 )

So the Real Print run is as follows for International Customers
A Type - 500 copies
B Type - 500 copies
C Type - 500 copies
Lenticular - 1,000 copies
Total 2,500
You also will have one click out of the 2,500
So as soon as one of the 4 versions is sold out the one click will be sold out

Its not going to be easy to get an order in and that's why I don't like Group Buys happening for this release

Good Luck on Friday 24th of April were all going to need lot of luck getting an order in

I expect all versions be sold out in less than 1 Minute
The website I don't think will be able to handle the amount of attempts to place an order direct as the print run for international customers simply will not be enough to supply the demand and web traffic

Easy and obvious way to work it out:

It says UK 12.00

Then right underneath, France 13.00

So it must be 12pm midday as France aren't a day ahead/behind the UK!!! :p

so when I ordered john wich there were only 2,000 available:OMG: (well almost 2,000 as they have found some more in their storage hehe) no wonder they sold so fast.

so they've either written 5,000 local and 5,000 international as a mistake or they have (for the first time) more than doubled their print run.

I'll be interested in their response to your question Paul:thumbs:

The 24 clock is being used to avoid confusion like this.
It's due to go live in the UK at noon, midnight would read as 00:00 rather than 12:00

They might have increased the print run as there are so many variations to collect, and so, want to make the collectors happy and give everyone a fair chance of getting what they want?
