Apologies for asking this if it's already been covered, but if the item is still showing in your cart from last Wednesday, will it be removed or not by the time this goes back up for pre-ordering today??
Just logged in to see my lenti copy still sitting in the cart, it would be a nice gesture if this was secured and I didn't have to start from scratch again- I mean, Nova have had over a Week to sort this out so surely they're aware of how many customers have items in their cart ready for checkout??

this is what NOVA posted on their fb. page after the "drive" pre-order fiasco (remember? magento...):

Last night, both us and our service provider had investigated the problem.

We thought the problem had been caused by the capacity of the amazon web service. So we tried to extend but this had failed continuously.

On further investigation we have now found the main root to the problem. The maximum allowance parameter was set at 150 users.

We have now fixed the issue to allow more people to buy our product during the pre-order peak time.

We are 100% sure that the situation that happened yesterday will never happen again.

so if they (and you) think, renting a bit of new server capacity will solve the problem: that might be wrong. it was NOT server capacity that made nova's site crash, but "the maximum allowance parameter" was set too low.
i would not be surprised if that has also been the case a week ago, but nova forgot where the problem comes from and tries to solve it by renting new servers.

please nova, set your parameters correctly this time.
;)
so you can be REALLY 100% sure this will never happen again. ;)
