This is a Marvel Release that's very popular when you have that they always sell out
With 4,000 to 5,000 print run its was expected to sell out fast

You can expect though customers cancelling some orders
If anyone ordered more than 5
Zavvi can and will most likely will cancel those orders if more than 5 ordered

Closer to release date you can also expect cancellations due to payment problems and these been made available before or after this happens

Sounds like most people here ordered twice or more though, ordering and then cancelling and reordering with discounts.

That would eat through the allocation and free up a lot of cancellations later on down the line.....

My question is why would they mark it as sold out when they wouldn't have any problems moving more copies in the next day or so. It's not like they're driving up demand for it, the demand is already there.

I'm not saying I believe it's sold out, I'm just saying, I think they sold out of their allocated amount and once cancellations and duplicate/canceled orders are processed it will be back in stock. I don't think it's some conspiracy or anything like that.

That most likely could happen if Zavvi and Disney decide to do Iron Man 1 and Iron Man 2
If they go with same a lenticular Magnet and be 2 discs with the extras they would sell easily

All products related to Avengers Characters are always in High Demand and re releases will sell no problem as long as you don't do to big of a print run and keep the re release to every 2-3 years and also helps if a new movie that's related to the film characters is about to come out
With these type of films you get kids growing up and then are working and having disposable cash
You also have existing fan base always purchasing a re releases especially if it looks different

Will this happen I would not be surprised if you do see another UK re release of Iron Man steelbooks in next couple of years if not sooner

You should see cancellations come back at some stage if you want to change your mind
