Yep the artwork above is the confirmed, as the listing is now using that art and no TBC to be found looks sweet and for £12 EEK! Also looks like the assemble part will just be on a j card as carnT see them slapping it on the steel with that art, paramount are awesome at steels these days if not the BEST!!

Not so sure Paramount are responsible for this steel. Thought they had switched to Play.com for their exclusives (MI: Ghost Protocol & the forthcoming Iron Man SB). HMV still have Disney exclusives (the recent War Horse). Also Paramount usually offer triple plays with their new blu rays and this is gonna be 1 BR only.

Additionally all retailers are saying this is Disney so I'm still a little wary this will be as good as previous Avengers SBs i.e. might not be embossed like Thor & CA. Happy to be proved wrong tho.

I think that's been discussed elsewhere, but Disney bought the worldwide distribution rights so it's not Paramount doing this Steelbook is Disney.

Yep realize this and that's the point I was making, but my post was in relation to a couple of comments further up the page where it was stated re Paramount's "involvement" in this SB:cool:

From Home Cinema Choice:

So far the studio has been fairly tight-lipped about what fans can expect in the way of extra features, but it has teased that 'Blu-ray audiences will be treated to a host of behind-the-scenes insights and all-new footage'.

The 'all-new footage presumably refers to the eight deleted/extended scenes already confirmed for the US release, arriving on September 25. The press release for that version that went out at the end of May also mentions a commentary by Joss Whedon, Second Screen app, Item 47: Marvel One-Shot short film, gag reel, music video and two featurettes (Assembling the Ultimate Team and A Visual Journey).

However, this misses the one feature that Disney has promised for the UK Blu-ray - a 90-minute documentary entitled Building a Dream: Assembling the Avengers. According to the Disney UK, this will include 'never before seen footage from Iron Man as well as fascinating insight from director Joss Whedon and producer Kevin Feige on how they began creating the Marvel Cinematic Universe for what has become on of the most anticipated and talked about movie events in the world'.

At £15.99 for possibly the biggest title release this year in an amazing looking Steelbook I'd get as many as possible, regardless of the weekend code now expired. This will do as well as Thor has... and then some!
