I ordered 4 on the 20% off weekend to be safe. I remember Thor going for double the price only weeks after going out of stock. I reckon HMV got at least a a few hundred orders of this at the weekend probably more now.

I made 2 pre-orders during 20% discount and I cancelled 1 since I'm getting FS & GER versions. Do you think I made a mistake in cancelling 1? I'm expecting this to go OOS and price high on eBay like Thor/Captain America.

You got the German one so you are fine there. I guess its all up to how much you can afford to spend. If you need it then get more, you can always cancel your pre order.

Thats just for the HMV stock. I orderd from Germany durring that couple hour really low price and went beserk on it.

It is actually costing me less per steel from amazon.de than it is from hmv even with that 20% off code.

I'm getting 3 copies of FS one (pre-ordered 2) which is identical to HMV one except more discs inside.

I think I'll stick to 1 copy of HMV then.

It's a Disney release so chances are it is not. Disney is strict with its region codes. Only upon release we'll find out.

The last three Disney Steels for the UK have been region free: PotC: On Stranger Tides, Cars 2 and War Horse.

Disney locked a bunch of their titles early on but more recently there have only been a handful that I can recall and they've been catalogue titles. Of course that's no guarantee but there's just as much chance it won't be locked given that all of their most recent new releases have been region free.

Still, it'll just be a matter of waiting and seeing but I'm betting on it being region free.
