In the UK version (which did show the blade sticking through), It was Coulson's death that got the Avengers to finally assemble. An emotional scene because he was a fan favourite of the series

In the German / Swedish, Italian etc version, because the blade doesn't stick right through his chest, and the fact that you don't actually see Coulson on screen for the rest of the film, who's to say that he doesn't survive? that's the rumor going round at the moment (because nothing was said when it was showing at cinemas) that Disney edited that scene after it was released at cinemas so they could bring the character back in later films due to backlash from the fans

Although you don't see Coulson for the rest of the movie, whether you see the blade go through him or not when Fury goes over to him he dies and then Fury announces he's dead, either that or he's just "pretending"?! Although Fury lied about his Captain America cards being in his jacket, it was to enforce the belief that he had in the Avengers Iniative an bit to make them think he was dead when he wasn't

I have the French and the far east versions of this. As far as I can see the this is the only steelbook that has that embossed border running around it (like C&A and Thor). the Metal Paks have it but not the steels.

Correct me if I'm wrong :)

mine shipped today as well. Now for the journey across the pond and then entire N.A. all the way to me here on the west-coast, lol. *** fingers-crossed" for you know what.
 
I guy I know on Facebook told me his friend got his today after it was posted Tuesday. He did point out that he did not get his and that was posted on Tuesday too. Mine was posted yesterday, and to be honest I will be amazed even if it turns up on Monday seeing as how often mine turn up late nowadays.
