*advice ordering multiples* be wary ordering multiple editions/copies in a single order if you plan on cancelling when you later decided which edition you want to keep: Zavvi cancellation is not reliable or simple, specially if using discount codes.
2 options:
A - pick and choose - separate orders for each item/edition
B - use the "contact us" option on the website and request for a specific title to be cancelled

(Thanks to Dazzler and Paulboland for pointing this out)

Just a warning to people:

For those who have ordered all 4 items together in one purchase (presumably using the code) if you try to cancel one or two items from that order then it won't allow you to do so unless you cancel the ENTIRE order.

Rather than the usual "attempt to cancel part of the order" it states the below and if you try to select one of the items to cancel giving the reason in the little drop down menu then for some reason it doesn't let
you unless you cancel every item in the order.

Special Offers
Attempt to cancel a special offer purchased as part of the order

Just a heads up really because if these go out of stock and you want to cancel some later on and it doesn't let you then you are stuck with all of them, unless you cancel the lot (losing out on all of them).

I have cancelled the order of all 4 and re-ordered them all individually.
Don't know if it's just a glitch for me at present but the only options I have are to cancel the entire order or the above option in bold, which doesn't work when trying to cancel a few of the items.

All it keeps saying is 'Please specify whether to cancel part or all of the order' which prompts you to select the reason for cancelling in EVERY drop down menu for each item.

Bare in mind, when I ordered all 4 together NONE of them I used with the code.

I have since used the code on individual orders.
Yes, Zavvi orders are fickle.
Well reminded(will add to OP if not already done)

I always order items separately (so have 2 for CM and 2 for this... meaning I just cancel an entire order of a single item when I decide what to keep)

I did the same thing with Cap Marvel (ordered all 4 together) then cancelled two of them, but it let me then. I've also ordered things in the past together and been able to cancel individual items in that order. Why this is now different, god knows!
It’s always been fickle, but hasn’t always had the option for cancelling individually...it’s not safe with it being Zavvi.
Lost Black Panther 3D steel due to order issues

Maybe others can confirm too, but as I have read from others the whole order fails at the time Zavvi tries to get the money. It uses the payment details from the time of ordering.
Yeah but they will email and give you a couple days to retry payment if there’s a probelm
(This has been improved and more reliable in the last few years)

If you ordered multi items in one order
You can cancel individual items in an order by using the contact us option

You don't need to cancel a whole order and lose 10% discount used and also risk losing items in an order that are sold out.

If 10% still works and items still in stock you can do a new order that is useful but it's not necessary to do this if you don't want to
If you have items that are sold out in a multi order you can just use contact us to cancel items you don't want and keep the sold out items you still want in your order and any discount that was used

That's correct. Added note to OP.

I've only had that error happen once a few months ago and upon contacting Zavvi, was told it was a bug, they then proceeded to cancel the item I wanted to cancel (at my request) although my order had a discount code.

With respect, I just don't understand why people buy these collectors editions... It's just a bunch of useless tat, who wants pins they'll never use or post cards that they'll never look at?
I collect pins and display them on a pin board (there's many other collectors out there too FYI), so they're certainly not pointless to some. I agree that art cards are generally kind of useless though, but they practically cost nothing to make and took away inside of the steel/slip, so they're no real bother to me.

Paying a little extra to get a steelbook case makes sense to me as Blu-ray will likely be the last physical format with any mainstream support and it's nice to have something a little more sturdy to store your discs in
To be fair your comment doesn't really make sense as there's plenty out there that won't even open them up, so in fact, the whole thing is useless I suppose. but any collectors appreciate them for what they are regardless of what the contents are.

There's plenty out there that pins will be collected just as the steels are as they seem to be getting more a part of the collector's scene more than ever, hence the reason Zavvi have jumped on the wagon with them and to be fair some of them are great and certainly wouldn't mind a few myself, so its a welcomed addition.

I'm not sure there's many who buy any form of steelbook because its a sturdy way of holding the disc.

Each to their own I say.

I beg to differ, my pins from Star Trek: The Next Generation steelbooks are proudly displayed on the wall in a jewelers display case and I plan on doing the same with The Game of Thrones steelbooks with magnetic sigils as well. So you might consider if it's not necessarily for you that other folks might find them a whole lot more appealing.

Managed to pick up 3D CE yesterday on my break at work!! Will decide whether I'm keeping it after I've seen the film :p

(To chime in on an earlier comment too, my philosophy is always if you don't like it or can't see why others would, you don't need to buy it!! :))

Looking forward to seeing this the weekend.

As far as these steels go, the CE are a little expensive when you consider how much you pay for a premium full/lenti but don't forget they are using a bit of tech in these boxes, however simplistic it may be for them, that's always going to push the price up. Then there's a box within a box, plus the extras, and the steelbook itself.

I wish it was less but then I have the option not to pay it.
