Have you seen Laurent Durieux's BTTF posters for Mondo? Likewise, Phantom City Creative's? Then there's Matt Taylor's artwork. This doesn't look like Mondo.
I own some of Laurent Durieux's posters. I like them.
I just happen to enjoy Classic movie steelbooks with the classic art by living legends. None of the above artists can top Drew Struzan's original three BTTF one-sheets. And why should they be trying? I would have used one of Struzan's cast off pieces for the trilogy collection. He had ones that did not get used.
Make new art for movies that had BAD art. Not for classics.
Redo that godawful LEGEND steelbook. Leave BTTF alone!;)

I totally agree. It is not as if Drew Struzan's art doesn't transfer well to Steelbooks, there have been some terrific Steelbooks using his artwork (UK releases of Big Trouble in Little China, The Goonies and the Indiana Jones series to name a few).

It was already sold out when Zavvi sent me the email release warning...ridiculous...
But I'm pretty sure it will come back in stock or another retailer will have it...

Interesting Artwork i Think..
I have tha Tin released a few years back..but Defiantly something I like about this
Glad I was able ta grab one..sorry to those that missed out
I reckon it will come back at some point..Unless there really are Only 1,000 Copies

Personally I'm not impressed with any of these BTTF steels, I don't like the '30th Anniversary' text on this one. I've ordered the individuals in the hope they'll look better in hand than they do in the images. Not quite sure how they managed to screw this one up - it's BTTF - how hard can it be when you've got the awesome poster art to work with

I personally love the fact it says 30th anniversary I like things to mark such occasions, it makes it more special.

If it was truly a zavvi exclusive then other won't have it, if it was limited to 1000 with I would hope people who actually wanted it and sadly i am sure a bunch of scalpels, at 1000 it won't be back.

limited to 1000 people, 600 went to scalpers most likely :p

Sadly I think a good number will and even sadder people will buy with their inflated prices.

I said at the beginning and so often with really limited releases it should be limited to like 2 each or something

Another one I missed but would happily have paid 40 quid for even though the price is little different to the original release price of the 2010 Collector's Tin which had various added extras inside.

Good move for the scalpers to get this - if they believe it will remain exclusive to Zavvi / limited to 1,000 in the U.K. - as the Collector's Tin has changed hands during the past few years for GBP 150 at the very least in 'New & sealed' condition.

I understand that the individual steelbooks are Zavvi exclusives but I feel that this steelbook trilogy should be available elsewhere just as the Collector's Tin was five years ago.

so many far better films waiting to get steel release, we have this piece of s...t once again. once again. once again.
