A Kubrick film in every sense of the description, very much in the vein of 2001 imo.
Slower, methodic and packed with gorgeous detail and unspoken meaning.
Its actually got a few humorous moments in it, as much as Kubrick could be humorous that is, a bit like some of the dry wit he brought to Full Metal Jacket.
Be careful with the glue under the flyer on the top front. Despite great precautions, the glue tore off the matte varnish. The same happened with FMJ and CO. The quality of the glue is even far different from the one on the back. It's much more sticky.
This happened with wicked and cuckoos nest, the front glue being different to the back. Back glue was standard soft type and the front was a yellowish tough sticky type and nearly ruined my wicked steelbook. Can’t work out what the thinking behind it is. Was clearly 2 different types of glue too
Didn’t expect this steelbook to be debossed. I would say this steelbook is step up from TFMJ and TCO.
Cheers lads. Happy to know I’m not alone but hope we all get it. I think it’s more a stock thing too. I don’t wana contact them just yet incase they get confused and just cancel the order. Not risking the bad communication

Tbf I think they just haven't had their stock in yet, as it was still listed for sale at £23 the day before release date. They didn't cancel any of the £20 cuckoo's steels that I'm aware of.They're going to give all of us £19.99 buyers, the £29.99 ones that got sent back dented.
