Got an email from Alex Clark and he informed us of the next planned SteelBook from Second Sight.

Second Sight should have just released the first film in a steelbook. 2 and 3 are awful. I suspect however they will do the same for Scanners, which suffers from the same problem - great first film, bad sequels.

Good news and bad news... when compared to their previous "Return of the Living Dead" steelbook.

This has no printed UK logos on the steelbook... but it has no inside artwork.

It's a decent looking Steelbook but no inside artwork is a let down. I might consider it if there's a big price drop in the future.

Going by their previous "Return of the Living Dead" steelbook it will be quite the opposite.

Well they better not put up the "unavailable" status and clear out or cancel orders of those who pre-ordered at the lower price and then re-sell them at the new higher price afterwards. I have seen them (DDD) do it before. I will keep my pre-order until hell freezes over figuratively

I've just checked my order at Deep Discount, it now shows as 'partially pre-ordered'. I went into view it and 1 copy had been cancelled but then there was another line showing as 1 still on pre-order at the cheapy-cheap price (I only ordered 1 copy!).

I checked on my order from Deep Discount yeaterday, only to see, like Grapey, that mine had been cancelled. I wrote and asked them why. This was their response:

yeah, I got the same response. they just did not want to give us the steel for 15.00. thats why we would be able to order it if it becomes available at the full price.

Yeah. That's what I was thinking too. I suspect they just screwed up posting the price, but, ethically, if you post a price and accept orders for it at said price, you really should honor it. Too bad. It really was a great price. :-D
