So the print run will be 150 of the Penguin box and 250 of the Catwoman box? In the OP it says "limited to 400 copies" and in post #72 it says that the Catwoman box print run is 250. So that would leave the Penguin box at 150. Is this right? It's all too confusing for my very modest I.Q.

OK I admit I've never been good at figuring out premium editions slips and boxes and so on but this one really has me confused.

OK so I believe there are 2 steelbooks. 1 for Batman and 1 for Batman Returns.
I'm guessing each steelbook comes in a slip. I see 3 different slips, Joker, Penguin and Catwoman. I also see 2 different boxes. Penguin and Catwoman.

Of Bats, Cats, Jokers and Penguins, can somebody please break down these editions?

That makes sense.

"Batman Returns" steelbook with Penguin slip in the Penguin box.
"Batman Returns" steelbook with Catwoman slip in the Catwoman box.

"Batman" steelbook with the Joker slip in both boxes.

why is there no Joker on the box set? not feeling the artworks. dont understand me wrong, I like the artworks, especially both backs, but the front could be better ..more elemets of the Batman 89 movie (Joker, Batwing, etc.). this set feels like a Batman Returns release with Batman 89 as a bonus.

Because it boosts up numbers of course.
Originally it was supposed to be catwoman on the slip and penguin on the box. I preferred that solution to two boxsets, that way you got all three characters in one.

Don't worry for Joker...you will find it Inside to complete Patrick Connan Artwork quadrilogy!

The Joker will be present inside the Box by opening the front door with this very particular effect.
The choice was very difficult and the final configuration was decided trying to guarantee visibility to these wonderful artworks!
The tribute to Joker was made on the Lenticular Full Slip with the wonderful work of Jason Edmiston which will be officially printed for the first time!

I don't know if i'll buy this one because my OCD won't stand having only one boxset out of 2 (no, i won't buy both boxsets at that price for 2steelbooks - no way)

Price depends by exclusive artworks. 3 famous artists are involved to create Batman Project, i think collectors can chose one version and enjoy it

Like yourself, I actually really likes these artworks and the whole set actually. The designs are really full of life. Zeta's are nice too but not a fan of the Zeta box art and I think the front artworks of Cine slips I prefer.

As much as I love Danny DeVito as Penguin, the Catwoman is the absolute winner here.

This is my major gripe with the front artwork as with every revision it is straying further and further away from the magnificent OG art, not sure how I feel about this to be perfectly honest why can’t we have the original artwork as it feels like it’s abit of disrespect to the artist of this artwork unless you have owner permission to alter this?

I think Batman on background and joker's hat cut on top was definitely not appropriate for alenticular.
We wanted to emphasize the bat signal which will be more spectacular with the lenticular effect.
We hope that the final work will be appreciated!

That’s the thing though by making “altercations” to the original artwork for “purpose only to better suit lenticular” it’s actually making it inferior as you’ve lost composition, affected depth layers and changed proportions with vertical shifts. Prime examples is the road behind the batmobile which has basically disappeared and now have lost the element of the batmobile roaring away from Axis Chemicals, the beam of the bat signal can no longer be seen being projected from the top of the building as it’s now off screen and more in line now of the depth layer of the moon, Batman in the background would have made a fantastic final back layer of the lenti but by removing it has now caused an offset as Joker is standing high and almighty all by himself with no Batman to go toe to toe with in height so to compensate Joker has been offset lower but it just doesn’t look quite right now as part of that element has disappeared. There’s a lot to appreciate with the OG artwork and still has me baffled why it got changed as IMHO it would make a great lenti executed correctly.

Truth be told, with artwork this beautiful, embossing would've been the way to go. No matter the changes, being a lenti will likely dull this otherwise bright and vibrant art. Just my honest opinion.

Couldn’t agree more this artwork would work better as a Full Slip to take advantage of the more richer colour palette that is available along with ‘bossin to highlight key elements to the artwork but unfortunately that would break CMs M-O of only SL Premium Steelbook Editions. Take for example Zeta who did amazing working with their Batman Anthology lentis even their SLs who have to an extant mastered the fine art of lentis struggled with reproducing the finer smaller elements accurately for example the penguins and Gotham’s skyline which were part of the depth layers.
