Amazon.jp usually has great packaging. Plus, they ship very quickly. My package reached me in two days (From Japan to USA). Less time for damage also.

They mail them in cardboard mailers. No padding what so ever. Its riskey. I also noticed that one of my orders shows it is going to be sent 1 steelbook per shipment. My gawd if they do that for every one the DHL dude is gonna be pissed. LOL.

Geeze! I hope they are packed well, and in one shipment. Spending $40 a pop on these, they better not be damaged when I get them.
They are beautiful though...can't wait!

chip, how do you see this? Not trying to brag here but I have quite a few of these steelbooks on order and each order (of at least 5 steels) is showing up as a single shipment. Yes if they ship one steel per order, they tend to mess up in the packaging and increase the risk of damage to the steelbook during shipment.

I can't remember how and when I saw it. It was just the other day. I thought it was quite odd.

One thing that would benefit folks ordering this is to learn to use the customer support page to ask questions in English (if you prefer) now. That way, it will not be a surprise (plus high stress) when you need to request a replacement happy grin. The last 3 times I had an issue with an Amazon.JP steelbook, they simply sent the replacements and told me to keep the damaged steels. And the replacements came in the same time frame - 2 days. Of course I am on the west coast of the continental US which might help shorten the shipping time.

Relax buddy. It is just the translation engine on Chrome that is messing up the title. Checkout the promotional page for this wave here (go ahead and use the Chrome browser).

It is NOT sold out if that is what you think that title says. According to the alternate translations, it means all (complete, total, or "full") quantities to Amazon exclusivity. In other words, only Amazon.jp sells this steelbook

Just sign up an account, place them into your cart and go all the way through the order. It will tell you shipping one step before committing to the sale. At a guess it won't be cheap. To Australia they only had one shipping option and that was express - AU$30. Same price as one of the movies

It's cheaper (in 'per item' terms) to buy more than one steelbook as the shipping reaches a maximum (or at least stops rising so fast) and thus each unit 'gets cheaper'. For 5 steels it comes in at about £130 ... but then there may be customs/taxes to pay... no real idea about these though.

I too was interested... The Wife didn't share my enthusiasm though.

+1 and that's definitely the way to go, I preordered all five white bg ones and I'm soooo excited to get them, really can't wait however I don't share the same enthusiasm about the customs hefty invoice Im gonna get

Yeah if your ordering these to the uk with 20% vat and handling charge, you going ro be paying about £35 for customs. So about £165 all in for 5 steels wow.
