ive seen it written....but my two own eyes need to see...is there a person to take pictures?:(

thank you lgans316 :)

I think there were some comparison shots taken a while ago but I can't remember where I saw them. You will definatly see the difference, there is a definite purple tint to it.
Edit: Evil has just put up a picture!

@Evil: nice one, you should get your image (with others if you have) posted on this thread here for any comparison shots bud :)

I gotta say I prefer the slip on the Korean 2nd release, dunno if you can notice the bats in the background :)

I have to admit, I like the greenish tinge but would prefer it with the white background instead of Wurple! Before I got the white version I thought it was a way to tell the Japan and Korean releases apart...

TDK has a blue tinge to the character but the background is the same Wurple as BB

I actually like the 2nd release TDK KOR as it has the metallic effect.

Wow this is the first time of me hearing about different Korean versions of this steelbook...! So let me get this straight...? The "wurple" version which is the version with a slight purple hint to it is more rare/limited than the white first edition? Or is it vica versa?

Confuesed!!

scroll a few posts down for the difference between them if you havent seen it yet and to answer your question: the white version is more expensive and a lot rarer:thumbs:

The 'wurple' steelbooks are not rare or valuable like the first print steelbooks.
In fact, the wurple or metallic effect is nothing to be proud of. I'm sure the effect is due to a poor paint job. I ordered steelbooks from particular wave, and they suffer from paint chips and a raised corner. Actually, it shouldn't be too shocking as these are Warner steelbooks. They'll do anything for a quick buck.

Thanks for the quick responses guys as I didn't expect one until the morning. Okay I got it that's why I was a little confused (I figured the first edition has to be rarer) I like the Korean slips and just now in fact decided to try and track one down I just wanted to know which to look for as I do see a ton on eBay but now I understand they are the less valued version.

Thanks all!

I have been aware that there is a 1. and 2. print ever since the 2. print was printed, and I find it quite entertaining when people dont. Not in a arrogant way, please dont misunderstand. Its just that i have only seen a couple of the 1. print sell on ebay the last 8 months (which means that the ones who know that they have the 1.print dont sell), and the ones selling them clearly dont know that they are selling the 1. print. Its was not stated in the description, and they sold for about the same price as wurple... Which isnt a catastophe considering that the wurples are way overpriced since they are not rare or valuable... Just ugly and of poor quality. But in my opinion the 1. print KR BB and TDK are at least as valuable as JP, maybe even more considering the slip, and that i dont know how limited the JP ones are.
Does anyone here have an opinion as to value on:
BB+TDK KR 1.print.
BB+TDK KR 2.print.
BB+TDK JP.

The 1 print BB and TDK were limited to only 500 in the korean market according to Tony.

And also how big was the print run on JP ones?

I've noticed one of these beauties come up on ebay, be interesting to see how high this flies! With only 500 of the rare white ones released there's a potential comparison coming up with how well the 1/4 slip may go for Le Grand Bleu. It's been a while since I saw the last one of these come up so who knows...
