This has been holding my order up for a month or so at Amazon, and now they are splitting the order. The other items are shipping soon, and this is showing "Not yet Dispatched". Why didn't they just split the order when I placed it?

Had the same thing happen to me with Tinker Tailor, Pacific and Hurt Locker. WTF? Just split it when I ordered originally and not keep me waiting, only to split it later Grrrr

With Amazon, you have to request items to ship separately during the order process.

If you do that, they end up charging you more for shipping. If you order to hold until all are ready, you pay the 1 shipping price.

It is just odd that they do what they say and hold all the released titles for over a month to wait for the pre-order to releaseed, then end up shipping all the released titles right before the pre-order is about to release. It really does not make any sense.

Had similar thing happen to me with Amazon.fr I think it was. My experience with them has been that they will split an order when there is a price drop scheduled for one or more of the items in your order. So they avoid refunding the difference but end up paying for two lots of shipping which doesnt make much sense to me.

Be interesting to know if any of the items in your order show up as a price drop in the next few days.

I'll wait and see, but I doubt it. The other 3 are Safe House, King of New York & Expendables. Both SH & KoNY have gone way up and I doubt Expendables will go much lower.

The only reason I could see is they have a backorder on the Batman SBs.
