Careful if buying this from HMV

Received 3 of these from HNV with shoddiest packing I have EVER seen. However 3 copies all perfect as far as I can tell. Just a self sealing grey poly mailing bag. I presume Jumbos won't fit in their normal mailer. (It won't fit in the new play mailer either, cos I tried !)

If considering buying it, I would suggest getting it from Amazon.uk. I consider myself very, very lucky to not have a damaged copy.

mine shipped last wednesday but hasn't even turned up yet, and have been told to wait 14 days before reporting it missing not good.

Twanky got this instore this morning and i had a look at it (both work together)

it has quite a nice finish to it. not a fan of the all black interior plastic but can understand the reason why they did it though

if they released something like this for all 3 films of the trilogy, i'd pick it up in a heartbeat. shame it had the BB and TDK titles on it. if it was just the bat symbol, could of chucked the DVD copys out and put TDKR discs in there when it came out

Ouch! That's worse than a jiffy bag!!

I wouldn't be happy receiving a normal amaray/CD/DVD case in that 'bag', never mind a steelbook.

I bet everyone who ordered from HMV and yet to receive must be feeling like right now. I feel for those who ordered from overseas, hopefully it will arrive in better packaging.

+1 Only wish they'd put 6 disc holders in though, that would make life easy. Could see some hydrids happening if someone somewhere does a trilogy. Having said that I think that would be on the cards anyway.

Hey guys mine arrived this morning too from HMV in a jiffy bag! Not impressed with that. I have a few niggles with mine.

P.S Anyone know how to change the Video Thumbnail as all 3 of the stored ones are pretty pants tbh.

was not going to get this as i have the futurshop 1st release of the dark knight and batman begins canda steelbooks , but because they 2 of my fav movies and i like jumbo steelbook plus it looks amazing with the limited number on the back ive just ordered it , nice job wid the vid

Please note the limited edition part is only a sticker but I'm sure we all plan on taking care of them. It's worth having it in the collection anyhoo.

Mine arrived today, first impression...not good, very thin jiffy! All good though, number 0089 of 8000...
BTW, I work for Royal Mail(driver), 9 times out of 10 the regular postie will bring this, too small for a driver....

Postman has been and gone without delivering my HMV Steelbook. It probably got damaged in that stupid jiffy bag. I feel a rant to HMV might be in order if does not turn up this week.

Mine arrived today in a plastic bag .... so you can guess there are a few dents and scuffs on the front

Other than the above it is a nice looking steel but will look better once converted to regular size steel.

P.S. any 1 know if HMV accept returns instore purchased online? ... this seems the only way to get a decent copy.

FFS mine still hasn't arrived, I think I might join in with dino and have a hmv rant, usually they're alright with delivering by release date, sometimes they even arrive early, but now it's past the release date, and still nothing -.-
