FFS mine still hasn't arrived, I think I might join in with dino and have a hmv rant, usually they're alright with delivering by release date, sometimes they even arrive early, but now it's past the release date, and still nothing -.-

same here. it's the first time i haven't received a pre-order from them before or on release date

mine too has dents lol, oh well nevermind, hmv, sort your stuff out to be honest, i dont think it was the delivery that did this, it almost looks like factory doings....

Mine arrived today in a plastic bag .... so you can guess there are a few dents and scuffs on the front

Other than the above it is a nice looking steel but will look better once converted to regular size steel.

P.S. any 1 know if HMV accept returns instore purchased online? ... this seems the only way to get a decent copy.

HMV will not accept returns instore for items purchased online. My copy of War Horse arrived damaged, they had loads of copies in my local store, phoned them up online to exchange it and they told me it were two separate companies....
They told me to send the damaged one back, receive the refund, then purchase one instore!

mine finally turned up today from HMV in a jiffy bag that looked like it's being doing the rounds for a few weeks. But luckily the jumbo looks spot on no dents/marks that i can see, I'm not sure what number mine is has i ain't opened it yet and don't think i will has i'm unsure if i want to keep it.

I received my hmv order last Saturday. I know everyone moans about them, but I honestly don't have a problem with hmv. Mine also only came in a jiffy bag, but has no dents at all. Also, my number is 300, which is nice and low!

I saw a few of these in hmv yesterday and it's the first time I've seen and handled a jumbo style steelbook. I can't say I liked it, in fact I'll go one further and say I thought it looked butt ugly Everyone has different tastes though.

mine are going back, only had chance to check them last night, and both have cracks on the spine of the SB. I guess this is what happens when you send something like this in a jiffy bag!

http://regionfreemovies.com/ is the best place to check. Or, check the listing for the amaray version of the title on amazon.co.uk, as they'll often list if a title is region free.

soooo glad HMV are "looking into it" especially with 4-5 steelbooks on pre order with them lets hope they can see that using cheap packaging isnt necessarily a way of saving money whats a few extra pence for better packaging rather than getting a hundred odd returns because of damage, Play.com figured it out every body follow their lead

The annoying thing is, they probably will!

Im gonna give it a miss and collect the individual steels, can see the DKR steely being pretty spectacular! (heres hoping)
