Director Zack Snyder has just tweeted the first image of Jason Momoa as Aquaman from the upcoming film BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. He is garbed in his Atlantean armor, bulked up, and looking awesome. There is so much detail in the armor and he managed to keep the small chain mail that the character is known to have. The trident isn’t very visible in the photo but I’m sure more images are going to be rolling out very soon.

I’ll admit, this well exceeds my expectations of how the King of Atlantis is gong to look. Like most comic book fans, I was very hung up on the whole “Aquaman is a blonde” bit but, at the same time, he will be the 4th person in this movie with dark hair. What do you think of the new look? I gotta be honest, when I heard Snyder picked Jason Momoa to play Aquaman, I couldn't picture it and was sketchy to say the least. However, now, I feel differently. I like the look that they've achieved and am eager to see how much we'll get to see of him in the Batman vs. Superman: DOJ movie
