Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)
Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman (2003)
King Kong (2005)
The Fly (1986)
The Ring (2002)
The Departed (2006)
The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)

Worst:
Planet Of The Apes (2001)
The Pink Panther (2006)
Around The World In 80 Days (2004)
Rollerball (2002)
Clash Of The Titans (2010)
Conan the Barbarian (2011)
Arthur (2011)
Hairspray (2007)

I agree Ocean's Eleven is one of the best but I actually did enjoy Arthur (2011).

What about these for best
King Kong (2005)
Casino Royale (2006)
Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993)

and
Avatar (2009) which is just a remake of Pocahontas, Ferngully, or Dances with Wolves. Take your pick.

Best:
  • Sorcerer (1977)
  • The Thing (1982)
  • Scarface (1983)
  • The Fly (1986)
  • Little Shop of Horrors (1986)
  • Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993)
  • True Lies (1994)
  • Meet Joe Black (1998)
  • Vanilla Sky (2001)
  • The Ring (2002) - I like this more than the original
  • Insomnia (2002) - Same
  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) - I love the original and this film
  • Dawn of the Dead (2004) - I like it way more than the original
  • The Departed (2006) - Same
  • The Hills Have Eyes (2006)
  • Disturbia (2007) - Not as good as Rear Window but entertaining
  • 3:10 to Yuma (2007)
  • The Last House on the Left (2009) - Better than the original by far
  • Evil Dead (2013) - I like the original (not as much as Evil Dead 2) but loved this one
Guilty pleasures:
  • The Blob (1988)
  • Cape Fear (1991) - I liked it more than the original
  • Pure Luck (1991)
  • Angels in the Outfield (1994)
  • House on Haunted Hill (1999) - I wouldn't call either versions good, but I like the visuals/atmosphere
  • The Grudge (2004) - The original is better but the remake scared me more
  • The Omen (2006) - The original is probably a better film but this is underrated
  • The Hitcher (2007) - Sean Bean is no Rutger Hauer but I still like it
  • The Heartbreak Kid (2007) - Underrated. One of the Farrelly brothers' best.
  • Funny Games (2007) - Not as good as the original, but well made
  • Friday the 13th (2009) - I was never a fan of the original but I was entertained by the remake
  • My Bloody Valentine (2009) - So bad it's good
  • Let Me In (2010) - Nowhere near the original, but still good
Worst (this should be a lot longer but I didn't include ones I refused to see because they looked so bad):
  • A Fistful of Dollars (1964) - just didn't do anything for me. For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and The Ugly are way better.
  • The Last House on the Left (1972) - Those cops...that music...
  • King Kong (2005)
  • The Amityville Horror (2005)
  • Fun with Dick and Jane (2005)
  • 2001 Maniacs (2005)
  • Bad News Bears (2005)
  • Pulse (2006)
  • Black Christmas (2006)
  • Halloween (2007)
  • Sleuth (2007)
  • Death Race (2008)
  • The Crazies (2010)
  • I Spit on Your Grave (2010)
  • Godzilla (2014)

Excellent list @lolwut but I have to disagree on a few films.
A Fistful of Dollars (1964) - excellent western remake of chambara film.
King Kong (2005) - very entertaining thrill ride with a touch of comedy
Godzilla (2014) - great remake, just because it's Gojira!

Yeah I may need to see A Fistful of Dollars again, but I felt it was too rough around the edges compared to the later films in the trilogy.

King Kong wasn't that bad, it had its thrilling moments. Maybe worst is too strong a word. I felt it was too long.

Godzilla on the other hand, I had a lot of problems with the script and casting.

Hey @lolwut, putting King Kong '05 on a "WORST List" is insane! That's the worst thing YOU can do! :naughty: o_O In the Jungle, those are fighting words my friend! :box: :blackeye::blackeye::blackeye:
