Anyways, Silver Label is a joke. The steelbooks are WWA. I bet @Noodles can do better artwork. I will buy his slipboxes anytime over these overpriced Silver Labels.

You're exaggerating there and not being fair. You could say the same thing for many FAC which use WWA steels or Blufans etc... which you also collect.

For these editions, collectors are in it for the slips and goodies not the steelbook itself, though some may go for this as their only edition.

I know you're upset for missing out on a couple of GBs, and I'm sorry that you and others missed out, but I also know you're better than this. :)

Ok, maybe a little...;)

FAC have become too expensive to me.

BluFans OABs at least gives everyone a fighting chance hence my continued support. OABs and Silver Labels have same quantities 300-500 per release.

Obtaining a copy of a popular, limited quantity release is always a challenge. The best you can do is continuously check for the latest info and be ready when it goes live. No guarantees but that's what I've done and I've been pretty successful with GB's. As for HDzeta's site it's very frustrating. It's poorly updated, confusing to navigate, and crawls or freezes during increased demand.

I have no idea if this is a BG or not - relatively new to HDN and have only participated in one other before. Is there any chance at all of securing a copy of this and Jumanji Lenti A. I was in France yesterday and so completely missed out and now face the dreaded eBay if I can’t wiggle in on a GB :(

Hey @Michael Callan , it's highly unlikely you'll get a copy of this now outside of eBay unless someone happens to have a spare and are very generous like @milky above.

As for Jumanji Lenti A, well that's gone from the HDZeta site but the GB is still open here at the moment so you can grab it from there. No idea how long it will remain open here though so you had better get on it quickly.

Here's the link

I don't even bother trying on HDZeta's website. My internet is terrible living out in the country (small price to pay IMO).

I was on ebay yesterday morning waiting for one to show up and make an offer like you guys were on here for the GB lol.

Got one for not too bad a price, at least compared to the crazy markups on other copies I saw on there today. Jesus!!

This will be my only edition of the movie, and has all the artwork that I like, plus 4k. So it's perfect for me.

If a new WEA steelbook does eventually come out, I may get that as well though and put in the slip.

I just got that 4k special edition box set that was out earlier in the year and if someone does a decent stand alone 4k steel I'll add that to it.
So to date i have.

1/ CAV Criterion laserdisc (3 copies)
2/ Warner director's cut laserdisc (2 copies)
3/ 5 Disc Special Edition blu-ray
4/ 4k deluxe box set
5/ Blu-ray steelbook UK (2 copies)
6/ Blu-ray steelbook France

Damn dude!

Saw these on another site earlier but couldn't post them here as they had the dreaded forbidden water mark!!

I'm just hoping the mock ups aren't too accurate and the finish objects will be much sharper. Especially the bottom one. As it stands they kinda look like a chalk drawing or airbrush drawing.......

Hmmm... I've got:

Ultimate Five Disc Collection Blu-ray
Ultimate Five Disc Briefcase Collection Blu-ray
Canadian Steelbook
White Japanese Steelbook
30th Anniversary Blu-ray
Final Cut UHD
And now this HDZeta Silver Edition

Now if I go into what I've purchased for 2049...

US Warner UHD
US Warner 3D
US Warner 2D Steelbook
US Warner UHD Steelbook
Sony Hong Kong UHD Steelbook
Sony Hong Kong 3D
Sony International Mondo-esque Steelbook
Sony Japan UHD
Sony Japan 3D
Sony Spanish UHD (liked the cover)
Sony Korean Blu-ray (liked the slipbox)
Sony Germany Deckard's Blaster
FilmArena 4K Unnumbered Steelbook
HDZeta 3D Slip
HDZeta 4K Slip

And I may be forgetting one or two...

I tried to log in to HDZ site a full half hour before the BR release went live.
Unfortunately, it seems so did half of SE Asia.
Could not even get on to the site until about a half hour after BR went live.
Of course, it was sold out by then.
Managed to order a copy from another source later at least, so I'm happy.
It seems evident that HDZ at this time is principally focusing on supplying the GB market since as others have mentioned, their site still cannot handle the influx of traffic for a highly coveted release.
Not to mention the dreaded credit card issues people have faced.
Which is kinda sad, as I had hopes to continue buying their wonderful releases and yes, I like their Silver as well as Gold.
Hopfully things improve as time goes on.

Personally I think the most frustrating thing about HDZETA is that they don't seem to want to improve anything to do with the site......
