I mean hmv

cancelled my order with amazon.jp for this. i preordered this beauty and save a lot of customs and package costs. but i can understand the owners of the jp version that are angry about this rerelease. but its all about the money today thats buisness

Why do people love to whine so much? These aren't re-releases simply because the studios have many different markeds and these haven't been released in the UK before with this artwork.
There are so many evidences to back my statement up but still some people just refuse to listen and just continue to whine.
How come there's not as much whining about let's say The Avengers og The Hunger Games being released in more than one country? Particularly when it states amazon this or that or play.com/hmv exclusive and so on. And when a movie gets "re-released" with a clean back and/or inside art when there's already been a release with printed back or no inside art most people aplaude it.
Let's just face it, the studios want to get paid and that's it. Thankfully we have Wreck and ther team here at HDN on our side trying to change their minds and they have gotten Play.com on our side too.
But at the end of the day all they see is a marked for this kind of packaging and a consumer base standing by with open wallets.
If you don't like a release vote with your wallet. Don't whine like a little girl that lost her icecream.

Don't mean to offend anyone or piss anyone off, it's just my 2 cents.

So, no one's allowed to complain/whine unless it matches your complaint/whine. :hilarious:

Well front of this as well as in the case of "Se7en" is the same, maybe back and inner artworks will be the same too, or different, maybe without any inner artworks, maybe in a next few months will be released in UK also white BB and TDK steelbooks, who knows.
However, I bought already all this 5 whites steelbooks for Japan (also with "Inception" and "Gran Torino") and I'm very happy with them all and nothing can change it, because I liked them when I bought them and wanted to have them for personal use and satisfaction of ownership. Yes each of these Japanese steelbooks cost me almost two times more than those from UK, but although they will look almost identical they will always be the Japanese steelbooks editions, which always will be make a difference even though in the form of the back card with a Japanese specification of movies. I do not want mean by that I'd rather not spend almost half the price less, but I do not regret those purchased steelbooks from Japan. However in future I will wonder twice before I buy steelbook form Japan.

Of course they can. It's just that there's been alot of complaining and whining about re-releases lately and I STRONGLY feel that these aren't re-releases because of the points I made earlier.
So in other words, I don't think people need to whine and complain about re-releases when they aren't re-releases.

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEEEY!
MONEY! *the theme song for The Apprentice US and the movie studios*
