Oops, but it looks actual art on my Chrome. I didn't think it looks different to others.

Anyone else noticed the difference between this/amazon.jp version? The white artwork doesn't seem to go all around the edges on these versions...the jp versions look better in that respect imo.

I made like £15 buying and selling the 5 disc on ebay and reselling on amazon :dunno:
Wonder what I shall spend the profits on.. I've missed having this on blu-ray as it is spectacular, especially the final cut. Steelbook and/or re-release aside, i'll be happy to have it back

You know this is a great film and awesome looking steelbook but i dont understand why they cant make steelbook of movie that havent had the treatment yet such as Taxi driver, the prestige instead of inception, predator 2, list goes on. I know that play has not released any of these title yet but they know that other countries have. Same movies released repeatedly which im resorted to buy the title i really want in a typical blu ray amaray case.:BS:

This is exactly how my *** steelbook looks. The top part of HF's head is actually on the top spine of the steelbook:

The Play version (below) looks like the image on the front has been shifted down by 1-1.5cm.

You see all of HF's head, but slightly lees of the bottom of his jacket.

Sideways, it looks the same positioning:

wonder why japan didn't just lower the image on the front like the one uk is getting still looks gd though

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the UK release...I assumed (rightly or wrongly) that whoever produced the *** image simply made a positioning error, and that's how it ended up. Seems pretty pointless having the top part of Decker's head on the top spine :wtf:

And this was corrected for the UK release.

Just my musings...

I'd be surprised if it's actually different from the Japanese release. It's still just a mock up, and there's a good chance they'll just use the same files to print the steelbook that they used in Japan.

I've dropped my pre-order for this due to the bland artwork, going for the standard 30th Anniversary set with the car instead, I think US has the digibook.

I am totall unimpressed with the Warner Premium Collection in general (bar Heat which actually looks good) .... it seems like they've made zero effort. Some marketing exec at Warners must have thought "steelbooks sell" and thought they could cash in on the trend so to speak.

I honestly like this wave because they are different and I like the less is more approach. You are right about Heat though, Its probably the best Heat Ive seen steelbook or amaray....

Looks great, this wave is growing on me! These seem to have a sheen where the Jp ones looked a little duller.

I see it's just disc 1 from the original 2 disc set. I hate it when they do that so you have a disc with the 1 on it even though there's no 2 to go with it.

Still, I've ordered it regardless as I like the steelbook.
