Yeh, the film imo is quite good, its pretty conventional De Palma 
For those who have seen the film towards the end i think is one of the best shots in the world of cinema... Not sure if i'm the only one, but i think its just as great as the Jaws and Vertigo contra-zoom shots etc...

It is a fantastic film and if any of you not seen this movie I would recommend a viewing
You be right about Vertigo contra-zoom shots Brian De Palma was very influenced by Alfred Hitchcock Films and a lot of his films he used a Hitchcock Style in lot of his earlier films
Alfred Hitchcock films a lot of directors were influenced by his use of the camera style in their films
He is simply one of the best film directors ever and we would not have seen later film directors great films if we not have had Alfred Hitchcock
