Finished watching Yes Man last night. Some funny parts but otherwise I thought it was a pretty dull comedy.

I liked it. Same sentiments as Cali

I was really disappointed in Miracle at St. Anna. Watched this on the weekend because we saw the trailer and it looked awesome. Says right on the case "best war movie since Saving Private Ryan", hahaha....NOT. Anyway, It was a great story but alot of the acting was pretty bad. The action sequences seemed slow and boring to watch as well. The thing that bothered me most was they had this big dumb guy that was a bit of a simpleton. I'm not sure what they wanted us to think of him but he came off as more comic relief then someone you might feel sorry for because he is a little simple. I know there is always room for somic relief but this was just plain stupid comic relief. Anyway, I really can not recommend this flick but if you're a fan of Spike you're prolly gonna see it anyway. I'd be interested to know what anyone else thinks of this one.

I liked this one as well, it may not be a saving private ryan but it was still a good movie in my book ... but yeah, the trailer was KILLER ...way too good of a trailer leaving you wanting to know more ... and then a big letdown as the movie takes a different turn. I enjoyed it tho. We had a thread discussing this already .... where I told people to watch it haha

Also, yeah, Miracle at St. Anna was good but not the best and definitely threw me off from the preview. But good overall.

Anyone gonna pick up Sin City? I gotta go order that off Amazon. Really like that movie. Dude at bluray.com gave it all 5 stars, although I don't really go by what some of those guys write.

just got Xmen trilogy, man does the 1st movie ever have bad ass sound..u know the part where wolverine is trying to escape the underground area and Xavier asks him where he's going....it works the surrounds really well and it tripped me out....i just had to look over when i heard that part...hehe...:scat:

gotta catch the next 2....

the wrestler for sure,They say the sound is top notch along with the video, that's worth my money, don't like buying bad transfers

oh i had sin city for a year, early Canadian release, just bare bones movies only...its rare for me to watch bonus features anyways [nothing a whole lot interesting unless its a huge block buster film],still a super nice film

Seems like Sin City is going to be a hell of a BD!

How better to follow up the great DVD box set version of Sin City than with an all-out Blu-ray version (Sin City - Recut, Extended, Unrated)? From the review at HollywoodChicago, that's exactly what Disney did -- the two-disc set scored across the whole trifecta: the video (thankfully) kept the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and accurately captured the abundant dark area details, the 5.1-channel DTS-HD MA audio track left nothing behind and even the extra features provided something for diehard fans and more casual viewers who want to rearrange the jump-cut narrative into linear form for individual characters. Say what you will about a lack of colorific range in the movie, but it's Blu-ray releases that fully deliver the director's vision and one-up the DVD that will get people into Blu-ray despite its premium price.

I am going to pick this up sometime in the next 2 weeks.
