+1 That's what I tell everybody who hasn't seen it.
The ultimate edition of Watchmen that's coming at the end of the year is going to have Tales of the Black Freighter tied in to the film!! not only that but it will also include the motion comic.

i have a question ...in the comic book did...(spoiler!!,skip the next sentence)!
the ink man die at the end or wtf?,that was kind of a disappointment of him dying at the end since he was just as or more bad ass As batman in The dark knight....then they kill him off?!...the rest of those super hero's sucked!..he was cool!
i might pick it up,i was a little disappointed in the artificial need 4 speed style F/X of the talking GPS telling Brian to "Turn Left here" in goofy bright neon colors....too cheesy. then Brian telling his lil gps to shut up..pfft.
and it really bugged me to know Han didn't seem close at all Dominic (Vin)..all he said in the movie was "heard theres some crazy **** going down in tokyo"
yet if u remember in tokyo drift at the end they race and it MADE it really seem like Vin and han were really close friends...i didn't feel no connection seeing han and vin in F&f at all..unlike Brian and Roman in 2 fast 2 furious...so it didn't stick with me with the 4 minutes they were talking.
and F&f needs to work on there soundtrack,...all i hear is this 'VE DA LOW KA!".."BLAH BLAH!"...Like if i just jumped into a drunken Mexican Hispanic party..

I watched Fast & Furious the other night too.... a little disappointing. I had heard from a few people that it was much better than 2 and 3. While it was better than the middle 2 movies, it still wasn't that good (and those movies sucked so it wasn't hard to be an improvement)
It was alot like the first one, just with more CGI - too much in fact. It was cheezy and kinda distracted from the movie. Especially the tunnel scenes. And like PS Hero said, don't get me started on the music
On a positive note, they kept Michelle Rodriguez's screen time to a minimum and Jordana Brewster is one of the hottest women in Hollywood - absolutely smokin'. Plus they had some pretty cool cars. Almost all of them except for the two trucks, the hideous STI, and the early 90's Ford Taurus that somehow found it's way into the last scene with Braga

Actually theres only like 2% CGI in that movie... its usually just the background, everything car wise is fully done, they explain in the extras..
You also need to watch LOS BANDEROS, or something like that, which fills in the gap issue between the other movies and this one.. its a prequel on the disc..
Rick and Cali made it sound like it should be the movie of the year when they first saw it! hahaha I am glad I didn't waste my money, I'll just stick to the first one and that's that.
I spent all day yesterday watching Pushing Daisies, interesting show, definitely not something I would of discovered on my own if the studio hadn't sent me.

Its was one of the best movies then, and still is. But it is not as great as the first one, it is 2nd..
Watched Deathrace, Knowing, Valkyrie. Deathrace was cool. I thought Knowing was interesting for a while and then it turned weird. Valkyrie pretty good.
Most of the film was very loyal to the comic, except few things on the ending and yes it happened in the comic too.
Damn we need some spoiler tags around here lol!
death race is a nice action pop corn flick if anyone hasn't seen it,it had the predictable happy ending but its entertaining non the less.
Valkyrie was an alright movie,the first scene was really action packed and had my hopes high & it slowed down a little after that...an okay war movie,Saving private ryan & band of brothers are still my most favorite war film's
"Knowing" is weird,man i couldn't predict what the ending would be like and when it was over i was like "Wtf!"...and man did i ever have a weird dream from that movie because of the ending...
i was dreaming i was in another world where i was living in this boat house floating on a water world with white fog around..lol.
I really enjoyed Valkyrie but then again i am a bit of WW2 buff. You should watch the documentry on the disc it has a nice 2 hour one and i think the film shows all of this in a good way.
I picked up yesterday at BB 300: Complete Experience, Slumdog Millionaire, and Blades of Glory.
