Blu-ray/Movie you just purchased or watched thread

watched Eastern Promises ... Better then my last try of viewing when I fell asleep in the theaters ... I liked it alot ... but the ending coulda been better although it was cool that it let you just basically fill in the blanks as its not to hard to figure the rest out then.
I thought Eastern Promises was a pretty cool flick.. I love how casual he is about removing all the fingertips, etc...

last blu I purchases was pan's labrynth and quantum of solace
I love quantum of solace.. really gives my home theater a great workout. I recently replaced my receiver from an AVR 247 to an AVR 254 (not really an upgrade) and I used it for fine tuning.
God I love the opening scene... through my def techs the glass breaking is just ear splittingly awesome - you know like glass breaking noises should be.

i just bought hancock and that new animated resident evil movie. a guy a work had them unopened, got them both for $20. i figured why the hell not?
I liked it, but not enough to buy it. There wasn't quite enough to get me to buy it but I was definitely surprised. Wasn't nearly as bad as most people made it seem. Plus that asian chick (the dancer one) was hot!
Yeah she was, definitely worth a rent ... I only bought it cuz it was 14.99 and rentals are $5 for me ... so if I watch it 3 times in my lifetime then I coulda owned it ... and now I do
... Plus, I like Nicolas Cage and alot of his movies and I particularly collect "by actor" in a sense.During my hayday of the DVD format I had them all arranged by actors

I might've bought it when it was $14.99 but I hadn't seen it at that point.
What'd you think of Fearless? Wasn't quite all I was hoping it'd be, but it was alright. I'm generally a big fan of martial arts movies...

I really like the film i just watched the Director`s cut of the film for the first time and think its the best version of the film. Im a fan of martial arts movies and i have always thought this was one of the better martial arts movies i have seen
