Blue Screen of Death Help! Horhay?

Okay, so I just recently started getting the blue screen of death on my PC. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit. My computer meets all the requirements etc.

Then, about a week or week and a half ago I started getting these blue screens of death. Only happens about every 2 days or so. Today was the first time I wrote down the stop error code.

I looked online to see if I could figure out what's causing this and I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm wondering if any of you know how to help me. I've looked in the Device Verifier and Device Manager to see if anything needs updating and nothing did according to those programs.

Anyways, here's the stop code error I received.....

did you recently update anything? Installed any programs? Could be a driver issue, but I am not sure. Let me look more into it. Lastly, was the the right error code?

Update:

Can you install HWinfo32? once you open it go to Report>Create>select HTML and send it to my email that will help me get an idea of what you have and what could be the problem.

Are you running an AMD 64 bit chip? If so, there's an issue with the chip that needs patching. Run Windows Update and see if that fixes it. I'll check some info see if I can find anything else.

Also, peeps are saying that a memory (RAM) module in your system might be going bad. If you can run the memory diagnostics tool right before Windows 7 starts it might tell you if there's a problem.

Damn, seems like peeps are having this issue with different hardware so yeah I need that HTML file and the crash log. To get the log go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer>System (New Window). The crash log will be shown with a red circle with a white x, you can double click it and it will come up there's a copy button that you can use to copy to a notepad and send it to me. That could tell me exactly what's wrong with it.

My first thought was memory is going bad. Did you get the wally world value RAM or the good stuff?
 
i say open up the pc see and make sure your memory didnt some how come loose. and check all the connections. and clean out all the dust if there is a lot. i always have an issue with my computers and dust lol.
 
for some reason that just reminded me of that dumbass that caked his PS3 with dirt and got on the news for trying to sue sony for rejecting his claim for repair
 
Okay, thanks for the tips Horhay. Just had another crash (actually 2 within the last 10 minutes). This time a different stop error: PFN_List_Corrupt

xxx stop: 0x0000004E

Not sure what is going on here? Never had these problems at all until I installed Windows 7 (clean install) from Windows Vista. Bought my Computer from best buy in August of 2007. It's an HP (yeah, yeah, I know that's the problem :rolleyes:) Media Center m8100n. And yes, it has a dual core AMD processor with 3 GB of RAM. Can't remember what type of RAM it has off the top of my head. But, seriously this is the first time it's ever started happening and started about 1-2 weeks ago. Really frustrating. I guess I just need to buy a MAC.

Anyways, I gotta run back to work but afterwards I'll get that information and e-mail it to you Horhay. Thanks for the help

Dude that's a page file error... you got memory issues - either your drivers for your memory (RAM) are bad or your memory (RAM) is starting to fail.. you know your operating temps?
