Blue Screen of Death Help! Horhay?

Okay, so I just recently started getting the blue screen of death on my PC. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit. My computer meets all the requirements etc.

Then, about a week or week and a half ago I started getting these blue screens of death. Only happens about every 2 days or so. Today was the first time I wrote down the stop error code.

I looked online to see if I could figure out what's causing this and I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm wondering if any of you know how to help me. I've looked in the Device Verifier and Device Manager to see if anything needs updating and nothing did according to those programs.

Anyways, here's the stop code error I received.....

Alright, had some more computer problems last night to where it reset the clock and date back to 2007 and wouldn't let me get on my e-mail sites etc. Really weird.

So, I got a little mad and decided to take apart the computer. I have no clue when it comes to computer components, internal stuff. But, I ended up pulling out the hard drive, pulling out the DVD Drive, Unhooked all the cords/cables, pulled out all the RAM, pulled out the network adapter, the cable tv hookups, the heatsink (or what I thought was the heat sink), all the fans etc.

Anyways, so then I vaccumed out the computer and dusted it off, cleaned it and then tried my best to remember how to put it all back together. haha.

I'm typing this from my computer so I must've figured it all out. Anyyways, then I ran full system antivirus/spyware scan and only came up with a bunch of cookies. Then I downloaded and ran the Memtest thing you guys suggested. It got to about 102% before I headed to bed. I left it running and when I woke up the computer had restarted itself. But, I never received any messages about any memory errors. I reset the date/time crap and so far the internet, e-mail etc works for now.

But who knows for how long. I think I'll probably re-install Windows 7 and limit what programs I install/download to see if and when I run into any other problems. But, for now it seems the RAM is okay.

if the computer restarted that could mean it crashed,if you have more issue try memtest again during the day.
if you get even 1 error that could be bad ram

Oh really? Well, that sucks then. the program did say that it would alert me about the error, but since I was asleep it may have and then the computer may have crashed. Makes sense then.

You might want to replace your RAM and test drive it for a night or two see if you have any more issues.

What's the best RAM to pick up? And should I just upgrade from my current 3GB to 8GB?

You need to know the type, run HWinfo. You should see DDRx and a number.

For example my system has DDR2 PC6400.

My favorite type are Corsair XMS with lifetime warranty. Pretty awesome stuff.

Here's my RAM: DDR2-667 (PC2-5300)

Question, I just looked on Amazon and they have some Corsair RAM that is
4GB (2 2GB) and DDR2, but it can reach up to 800 hz. Can I only use the 667 Hz? If I buy these and keep 2 GB of my old RAM at 667hz will I run into any problems?
