I dunno. I understand what you're saying, but for me its about movies I like and choosing the best Steel(s) for that particular flick. Just because something is released doesn't mean I have to buy it. And, personally, I'm not in it for the money or the value of any particular SteelBook, so the recent flood of Steels doesn't bother me. :)

Totally with you on this POV... I too only collect steelbooks for the films I love and pick only the best.

There has to be a financial reason why BB cheapened theese releases by not adding inside art. Must have unnecessarily driven up the price if they included it. I'm convinced that retailers don't usually make decisions like this unless they cannot make it work financially. It would be like a car company that didn't offer a radio in their vehicles simply because they didn't want to.

Often studios make those decisions, so they could have said to BB - take it or leave it.

is this region free?

Yes.

Is Best Buy still selling this steelbook in stores?

I think they were just produced for the sale when it happened cuz I haven't seen a restock of some of these titles since then. You can still find a plethora of Batman/Dark Knight steels on the shelves, but finding the other titles are hit or miss depending on which store you go to. I know I haven't seen a Book of Eli steel since the first release of these steels, so ymmv

chip, it is still available in some stores but quickly dwindling. I saw a couple of copies in the Issaquah store last Friday. You might want to call ahead to see if they are still there. They can hold it for you for the day.

On a different topic, any ideas for inside art?

Thanks for all the replies. I was wondering if they were in pretty shoddy shape. The last time I went into a Best Buy the only steels they had were horrible looking.

My BB still had one or two of these on the shelf. Didn't look too bad but didn't fully inspect. They actually had several; of the other releases too.
And MANY Batman Begins & Dark Knights.

I haven't seen any inceptions at any of the Best Buys even when they were first avaible. Was it an online thing only with inception?

No, all of them were available in store on release day well at least at both Bellevue and Lynnwood stores.

A very special picture I took on release day :)

good job, can you send me the template you used. I haven't opened my copy yet since I thought the movie was eh, but if I decide to that is a nice interior
