i personally wouldent be convinced by what HMV says. ill wait and see, also the rental appears to be region B locked so i would expect the same on retail. and this is a lionsgate release they usually lock them.

Just got done watching this and while it wasn't what I expected, I found most of it quite predictable. The last half hour is where it all kicked off for me though and that's what changed it from being a poor film to an average film. Glad I cancelled my pre-order, but I'd still probably pick it up if it dropped below £10. I actually think I might enjoy it more a second time around to be honest.

honestly... i really want believe im not crazy and hmv just pretended to cancel the order but sent the item anyways because they already had a payment on file...

If it still appears in your account section as a live order, then it wasn't cancelled and that's your fault. Why would you report an HMV transaction to your credit card company? Ridiculous.

loved the film at the cinema, although it did lose a bit of impact the 2nd time round. looking forward to receiving this one though, and picking up the standard bluray for the lenticular slipcase too :D

i have dug up my email stating from hmv that my order was canceled... they did ship the item without my consent which authorizes me to report a charge back w/ my credit card company

i even remember specifically looking through my hmv account the past weeks to see if my order was still live because i was re-considering purchasing it but because i found no transaction or pre-order i decided to wait for the price to drop

I have only seen it once myself so I'm looking forward to a second viewing to take it all in.:)

I think you're talking about the U.S. release. The UK rental release only has a rubbish DD 5.1. So members are anxious to see if the retail version will be any different :(
