First time for me preordering/ordering from HMV. I haven't recieved a dispatch email yet, but on my account it says it shipped two days ago.
Can I assume it is shipped without recieving a dispatch email?

For those concerned about the rental disc having lossy audio, the same thing happened in Canada with the Hunger Games. Rental copies had lower quality lossy audio and retail copies had the HD audio

I'd be VERY surprised if the retail copy for CitW was lossy

i just finished watching this one! i must say i rented just because, but i really enjoyed it!, the trailer is rubbish, but once you start watching it it's fun, somehow different, steel looks cool from pix!

In HMV store today, still waiting on the delivery. But they told me they are expecting a lot of copies of this one can't wait. Hopefully by the end of the day they will have there delivery. Fingers crossed.

I popped into mine also. I preordered it instore and when I didn't get a text message today I wondered what had happened. The guy told me it would be Mon or Tues before they get them in because the have a new courier since Target went belly up and they obviously are unable to make it on time for release day deliveries. Joke if you ask me.

Yeah. Thought it was a pretty lame excuse myself. There are posters up all over the shop about the HMV exclusive Wraith Of The Titans Steelbook. I asked the guy to preorder that one for me too. He checked, and told me that he couldn't-that it was coming up as discontinued on their system. He said he wasn't sure if they would be getting it all and that he would have to take down the promo cards in the shop! The same thing happened me for Sherlock Holmes 2. It was never released in Ireland. And then when I went to get it online it had sold out on release day

So do you mean you'll be able to pick it up early? I never thought to do that, used to sometimes with games in Game and they would ring me to say I could collect it early but depended on if they had been authorised to sell it before release day so usually day before. Still least wouldn't have to worry about it arriving damaged in the post and could inspect it there and then
