Zavvi has a Lone Ranger steel and one lone steel for this flick is more than enough for me.

The Zavvi one looks pretty good also.

How about BluFans tries to be original and do a film that currently isn't in steelbook anywhere in the world ? Choosing Man of Steel or Pacific Rim would be extremely boring and predicable.

Just for 2013 alone, there are steelbook-worthy films that haven't been released that way, such as Cloud Atlas, Side Effects, Warm Bodies, Stoker, Mamá, Trance, This is the End, The East, Insidious Chapter 2, You're Next, Prisoners or even Now You See Me. I'd add The Congress or Mud to that list, but that'd be a reach. Still, most of those 2013 films I listed would positively benefit from having at least one steelbook edition in the world .

This would make this release special and sought-after too, imo.

I second Cloud Atlas. I've been waiting for someone to release this title in steelbook form so I can finally purchase it. :movie:

Blufans's releases have to be those movies released in China mainland in Bluray, but among all the films you mentioned, only Stoker was released in China... Now You See Me has a little chance to be released, but all the others will not, I'm afraid

Having said that, I think Man Of Steel would also be a bad idea unless they really went to town on very exclusive artwork, slip case and mastering.

In terms of older titles like Face/Off, I would LOVE to see what Blufans could do with Sucker Punch

I doubt they could out do the San Diego Comic Con Sucker Punch. Yeah it is G1 but it is freakin' amazing. Great original artwork and everything inside you could hope for. If Lone Ranger is not going to happen I would like to see blufans turn their attention to another Disney title. Something unexpected maybe like all four Pirates of the Caribbean movies in one steelbook or Treasure Planet.

Loved Sucker Punch, one of the greatest representations of mental health problems to be shown on the big screen. Liked the first Pirates too, but the rest don't even deserve a blu ray re-release let alone the Blufan treatment. Adore the Face/Off steel, and think they should stick to films of that kind of cult appeal. Found it strange they were even considering LR in the first place.

Personally I'm getting sick of Disney films, and feel there are better films that deserve more attention than what's presently coming out. 2 Exclusives for Monsters Uni? It's time these companies moved away from Disney altogether.

Disney collectors have deep pockets. I would not hold your breath hoping for the Disney / Pixar Steelbook craze to slow down anytime soon.

As far as cult films go this is the one, two K.O. punch I'd like Blu Fans to deliver to the side of my head is...

It just got released, but I'm still hoping for a epic Hero release with the extended cut and all extras...
