I just placed an order for this along with the TF3 and new TF1 Steelbook (had the old school TF logo one previously). Will be keeping my preorders unless Futureshop comes up with a Steelbook of their own. :naughty:

Yeah, I always contact amazon customer service and have them price match the drop, just so I don't miss any decrease. :D

You do know they do that automatically with pre-orders, right? ;) They have pre-order price guarantee. Meaning you'll get it for the cheapest price it has been between the date you ordered and the date it releases. You don't have to contact them about it :)

Yeah, that's what they say, but from my experience, it's not true.

For example: there's a price drop over a day or a couple of days, lots of people on the forum will spot us and let us know. (thanks guys) :)

I've seen lately that the system won't match temporary reductions - only permanent ones. It seems that often Amazon will hike the price up or back to where it was so originally - when it ships, it is the "lowest" price.

They play so many games with prices, you are not guaranteed to get the lowest one, from everything I've seen. ;)

Hmm, weird... I've never seen a price drop that didn't get matched in my account.. Sometime it takes a day to get changed, but it always gets changed (in my experience).

But hey, maybe I just don't see the price drop always... (which would such, ofcourse.. :p)

Ralfers-yeah, it's happened more frequently, where someone orders, and they are not automatically honoring the lower price. And even when you contact them, sometimes they still try to dispute it with you. It seems they've gotten more rigid over the years:rolleyes:

Just noticed that the amount that one can reserve to pre-order has dropped from 5x copies to 3x copies today on amazon.de

It's a hot one! :oohyeah:
