Yup. I've been wound up like a jack in the box and said a lot of heated things and then the post where I decide to just wind em up and be silly gets deleted lol.

The room comment from franky did make me laugh. I got a weird look whilst waiting for the bus

Thank you, i get my humour too ;)

Oh well I take back what I said, looks like your a 3 date girl..... Which is good news for some

Especially When things get really 3D! Or is that 4D? (Sorry)

I haven't seen it in 3D yet and I'm similar, I'm on my phone at times (usually on here actually) esiecially if the film isn't grabbing my attention.
Ha looking at your phone with 3D glasses on is like the final stages of shrooms... Not good

I actually found it quite funny. Epscially spidey scenes and antman (they stole the show for me anyway and prob biased against them both because they are my favs - well antman recently but always spidey)
:LOL::rofl::LOL::notworthy:

I have active 3D so I get lovely flickering if I look at my phone, all the action sequences were great(I noticed that the first time around but not so much the second time, sometimes watching films with friends who are talking all the way through it doesn't help:emb:)there were so many characters in this one (new and old) that there just didn't seem time to get to know them in more depth, I think if they had have had more screen time I would've connected better with them.. but now I've said out loud my disappointment in the film that usually means I can concentrate more on the positives on my next viewing:cigar: giant ant man was pretty funny looking back.. I'll give it a better go next time round:thumbs: 3rd time, I'm gonna love it:rofl:

I've not seen 3D in active viewing get (whatever you call it) just the standard 3D way. Hopefully I can pick up a 3D tv soon.

I watched 10 cloverfield lane the other night with some mates and one of them (whos idea it was to watch it) started cleaning the second it started like some OCD monster for about 40 mins. Well annoying.

Avengers: infinity wars (or whatever the new title is) will have avengers new and old aswel as upcoming characters like dr strange, wasp etc and guardians of the galaxy and also whatever new characters we might get for it aswel as villains (Thanos, possibly the likes of Loki and maybe even red skull turning back up), going to be jam packed and it's being directed by the brothers who made this and winter soldier so you might have the same problem. Heads up

Yeah he was quality, his eyes when it happens. Good luck on the third go!

You guys:joy:

I think there should have been more characters on the spine;)

This steelbook isn't the best quality wise and I feel it could have done with the whole thing being full gloss.. plus the bottom right hand corner is way too dark.. but it's not a bad(or the worst) steelbook, for £22.49 (what I paid using the code)getting a steelbook, new release movie, 3D and 2D BD's, I am happy with it.. wish I could say the same for the film itself, Just watched it for the second time (I wasn't impressed the first time round but wanted to see it again to see if I liked it more, I actually liked it less).. I might even go as far as to say I hate it.. maybe it'll be 3rd time lucky, as I so wanted to like this movie
I really felt like that with the 1st Thor but after about the 3rd view I've got on board with it and think it's actually ok. Not so much the Incredible Hulk tho. Doesn't matter how many times I've seen it I just can't be bothered with it.

Passive 3D doesn't retain the 1080p PQ but Active 3D does so I would recommend active when you get you new tv:thumbs:
Lol, who cleans for 40 mins when you watch a film:rofl: I watched that alone, some films are just made to be watched on your own, like that one and I recently watched the shallows too, makes a difference to the experience I feel
I've heard of Dr strange, I'll watch that when it comes out:thumbs: I don't know wasp though (I don't read the comic books so the only things I know about marvel are what I see in the movies:emb::emb:) looking forward to GOTG 2, I really liked the first one:D

I'm gonna watch civil war over and over again till I love it:rofl: I might watch it again today, on my own so no one's talking all through it lol

Thats another one, thor took me 3 times before I enjoyed it, now I love both 1 & 2:cigar:

Same as you on the incredible hulk though, I've watched it many times but it never gets better, I'd love to see a new hulk movie with Mark Ruffalo, I think he's the best hulk I've seen so far.. a part from this guy of course

I'd like to see a new one aswell but it's very doubt with marvel studios not having the rights for a solo movie (n) also to be honest the first time I watched Cap I wasn't impressed.
I'm looking forward to the new GOTG aswell, the first one was brilliant I felt. Would like to see a final ironman film but think that ship has sailed with all these new characters being introduced. It'll just be avengers and cameo rolls for start now.

Thats a shame, I think it would have been the best one yet with Mark, how comes marvel don't have the rights to a solo film?
Iron man is my favourite so I'm quite disappointed there won't be an iron man 4 but I'm thankful he is still willing to do the smaller rolls in avengers etc, the guy must make a packet.

Someone told me that marvel had to sell a lot of their rights to characters to stay afloat as they were going bankrupt. So like fox have x-men and fantastic 4 then Sony have spider-man ( well still theirs but share it with marvel now ) But because marvel is doing such a great job people are demanding fox give them the rights to the fantastic 4 back. Just because the 3 films they have made have been rubbish.

You'd think disney would have enough money to buy any rights they wanted.. if that's even possible, I know nothing about that side of things:emb::emb:

I really love and have the original HMV CA and Thor steelbooks and just beautiful but I do like this nice design and like the finish.

I wonder though if more characters should have been in the artwork?

The steelbook releases for Avengers: Infinity Wars (or whatever they end up calling it) will be 2 foot tall just to fit them all onto the spine! Seriously, expect a spine with just the Infinity Gems on it I reckon.

Well you've only had 12 previous films to "get to know them". :p

Finally got my Zavvi Civil War steelbook yesterday. It's decent but the finish makes it look rather odd if you look at it off-axis (I display my MCU steels on a shelf all at a diagonal angle to show spines and fronts) almost like a cheap lcd monitor - it goes really blue instead of grey. Odd but it's still a good match up to the last 3 MCU releases.

Finally received mine! It's certainly not the worst Marvel steelbook out there, but it's not the best by a long shot either. As someone who's usually a big fan of spot-gloss, I think it was executed pretty poorly here... they glossed the crack? o_O

It would've looked loads better full gloss, as the front looks very dull.. especially Iron Man. As for the metallic part on the back... I seriously wish they'd stop doing that with steelbooks, as it looks cheap IMO. I'm not even going to talk about the spine. :wtf:

Still, I think they could've done a lot worse, as they proven time and time again with their past few releases. At least the artwork is pretty cool overall, especially the interior! Looking forward to rewatching the film tonight. :)

I know right, I think the disigners thought, wouldn't it be fun to read on forums people talking about glossed cracks:confused:
Would've been awesome if they'd glossed everything but the cracks.

I agree with you about the metallic back art too.. this steel is in the middle ground for me, could've been so much better but also could've been soooo much worse.

Well said. People praise those metallic effects but they don't realise that it is a cost cutting measure and an excuse to avoid coating additional layer of paint.

Haha yeah, they're probably giggling like school girls at our glossy cracks comments... as am I. :giggle:

I always thought the point of spot-gloss was to make something stand out, which is why they usually use it on the focal point, like characters etc. So it makes no sense to gloss a bloody crack (that sounds even worse, sorry). :p

Agreed... it's definitely a middle ground kinda steel. I suppose I'm happy with it overall though... I mean it is what it is, and it isn't awful, so I can live with it. :)

Exactly. It looks really tacky IMO and I hate the effect it gives. Just looking at the steelbook again in better lighting and realised the front has metallic parts too... Iron Man isn't even gold!? :bored:

Cheers for the recommendation

I actually watch a lot of films on my own now. Especially horror for some reason, I even had a stint of going cinema on my own lol :sorry:

Have you seen ant man? If so then you might have a clue of who the wasp is. And she's in the next ant man film currently titled Ant-man and the Wasp

Yeah I can't wait for gaurdians 2. Absolutely love the first one

I loved Thor 1 but I hate Thor 2, it's the only marvel film I'm not a fan of. But I'm really looking forward to Thor 3 and it's pretty much a hulk film too, and it's not far off the planet hulk story by the sounds of things. They are filming it now.

Would love a solo film with ruffalo but it's seems like Thor 3 is the closest we will get for now

Completely agree, and I'm a huge lover of spot gloss too especially when done right. The crack is so odd and like yourself I find the metalic parts sooooo tacky, ruins the image and you feel like your missing so much of the image let alone colour

Also one of the things that's annoyed me too is the absent colour of gold from iron man on the front! What the hell! Just a bland colour with the shield too

Like you said it's not the best and not the worst but I actually prefer the guardians and antman WWA aswel as the winter soldier WWA from Europe

But I do like the back of this minus the metalic effect and the inside is awesome
