Of course, the simple answer for all those who bought this steel and who feel let down (LOL) by the finish (LOL) - nothing wrong with the finish for anyone sitting on the fence BTW - then return them so that they can be sold to collectors who appreciate a top class U.K. steel.
P.S. Speaking about "cage" and "rattle" - best place for certain people.
"Limit your collection" - more BS . . . not wishing to be more rude than necessary here . . . and anyone with even the faintest knowledge of U.K. steels - check out Posts #56, 58 and 60 in the new BOURNE thread - will know of the wonderfully varied and artistic selection of U.K. steelbooks produced since 2008 to the present day.

I don't get it, I was referring to this thread's crappy WWA Civil War, and you quoted me from HMV's Hateful 8
That's my bad, for some reason I had it in my head you were making a general steelbook statement and not about this specific steel. (no idea why I thought that)

Well I never actually made a personal attack or profanity toward someone just mentioned what I notice.
I noticed my last message on the last page was editied by a mod but I cant work out what was changed, feel free too pm me

Interesting how a lot swear on here and blank out a letter and get away with it and I say "I don't give a f*** who likes it" and it gets changed

We've gotten a bit derailed here, and though most people may not mean to escalate members, it happens regardless. So, my request remains to have folks take a minute and think about how words affect others-it's nothing personal, just a general reminder to us all of community guidelines to keep things friendly and in perspective. Thanks all.
HMV Cap steelbook is a million times better than this. You only have to unseal the HMV version to appreciate it's sheer quality. Hilarious when people compare quality of sealed steelbooks with no true knowledge of the finish.

I think there should have been more characters on the spine
This steelbook isn't the best quality wise and I feel it could have done with the whole thing being full gloss.. plus the bottom right hand corner is way too dark.. but it's not a bad(or the worst) steelbook, for £22.49 (what I paid using the code)getting a steelbook, new release movie, 3D and 2D BD's, I am happy with it.. wish I could say the same for the film itself, Just watched it for the second time (I wasn't impressed the first time round but wanted to see it again to see if I liked it more, I actually liked it less).. I might even go as far as to say I hate it.. maybe it'll be 3rd time lucky, as I so wanted to like this movie

- Colours certainly brighter on the original CA but it's not because of a gloss finish and only looks brighter because of the more metallic colours used although the full title is glossed.
- CA: CW has more muted colours (some have called it de-saturated) but IMO the colours perfectly match the muted colours on the Iron Man half and so blend well with eachother.
In truth a fan of both and if my study caught fire tomorrow and I had to take either the HMV or the Zavvi I'd take the HMV because it would be a darn site harder to replace than the Zavvi something like five years after it was released.

I was the same with cap 1, I watched it about 3 times before I loved it, same with the first avengers film (about 3 times) same with iron man, so I'm thinking.. theres a pattern there seems like the 3rd times the charm for me, I've definitely not given up on civil war, I'll watch it in 3D next, when I watch 3D I pay much more attention to what going on, I get far more immersed in the story and not messing around on my phone like I usually do. I think what stands out for me in this film was that it was too serious and more real world problems(is rather aliens come flying through a portal), I like the avengers cos they wind each other up and there's some funny banter going on, I usually laugh a lot when I watch avengers and iron man films but this one was a bit darker, much more serious and I guess I just missed the laughs, also.. I missed Nick Fury

I haven't seen it in 3D yet and I'm similar, I'm on my phone at times (usually on here actually) esiecially if the film isn't grabbing my attention.
Ha looking at your phone with 3D glasses on is like the final stages of shrooms... Not good
I actually found it quite funny. Epscially spidey scenes and antman (they stole the show for me anyway and prob biased against them both because they are my favs - well antman recently but always spidey)
