It's been confirmed now that both Captain Americas are ALL matte, no spot glossing. Blufans have failed 100%.

The only people who will be really happy with this release will be completion addicts who are buying this just so as not to have a gap in their Blufans collection. Those that do not have a CA1 steelbook in their collection should save up for the real thing - HMV CA1 and Novamedia CA2.

Would gloss have been nice sure but the design is still beautiful so let's not act like all of the sudden these releases are crap because they really aren't.

I hope all this hate for these means that some of you will be stepping back for others to step in who would appreciate these releases.

The CA1 shield is my favorite steelbook. Such a beauty. I would sell all the rest of my steels before I got rid of that one.

But, as you said, this is still a very solid release for those who missed out or are intent on completing their BF collection.
