Why ? Just because there will be a Blufans sticker on it?
Now that's laughable.
I actually hope it DOES turn out better than it looks. But its not going to be great just because of a sticker, some cardboard and postcards.
Who said anything about a sticker. I didn't, so your jumping to conclusions with that argument.

Like I said before the design is way better and the package as a whole will be better.

It's been confirmed now that both Captain Americas are ALL matte, no spot glossing. Blufans have failed 100%.
think you need to learn how to read i said thor 1 was still spot gloss just like the original thor 1 was spot gloss not full gloss not CA1 in fact I said CA1 HMV steel was and still is the best however you are really making a fuss over nothing no one will force you to buy this

I think many people are jumping gun too soon on both Cap Am releases. IMO the only downside is

- No super gloss finish
- No true WEA art on cap am TWS

Now the good things

- High quality matte finish (mixed with gloss and not sure what that is but pics look good)
- Excellent embossing on both specially TWS since WWA had weird embossing
- Art on Cap Am 1 is WEA and I like it a bit more than just the shield on front
- There is a continuity in art between both steelbooks which the previous releases lack - Captain on front on both of them and that looks very nice

just my 2 cents

Exactly how I feel. Don't get why the original CA release gets so much praise. Shield at the front : Meh.

I guess I don't have any right to judge. Don't have one.

Personally, for CA First Avengers nothing can compare to the WWA Steel having one in hands is the way to understand why this release is so special (best copies to own are the Taiwan and Japan Grail releases) but the HMV is still same steel and much better looking by a mile from the Blufans one.

for CA2: TWS, WWA was so superb in terms of steel quality, of course my Favorite as a whole package is the Taiwan Version, the Gloss treatment is just superbly done, the embosed/debossed treatment also stunning, the 1/4 slip that melts like butter into the steel, the Chinese Characters and the Sticker is just an absolute flawless release.

So for me those are the ones that cannot be touched, they are the golden ones, however I do believe that the Blufans ones with the Lenti(orFullSlip) will look so much better in hands...but definitely not worth double dipping on those.

I have the previous release (exactly like HMV) and I love it but the new BF release might become my favorite. Now just waiting to get in hand

While I would have liked some gloss especially on captain America himself, I for one like that the border serves a real purpose on the steel. I like it a lot as it is similar to the way Thor WWA was framed by the border. I just don't like it when a border is added with no regard as to how the artwork is compromised by having characters chopped off in ungainly ways.

There have been so many releases that look 'meh' in pictures, but stunning in hand.
I won't judge this until it is in-hand and I can see it with my own two eyes.
(And for my two cents: the original shield steel- while kind of neat-o at the time, is just a very boring cover.)

You're saying the WWA steelbook needs to be held in hand to appreciate whilst dismissing the BF version without having held it in hand.

Doesn't seem a fair comparison! Everyone needs to relax until people have this in hand and can actually compare the two.

Agree that the first CA steelbook is awesome but you already declare that miles ahead of BF without having one im hand. Hilarious [emoji4] [emoji12]
