I did mention that it was my personal preference(which I have fully the right to) and also that the blufans will look much better in hands, and for me making the comment of having to hold the WWA in hands(@gregavfc ), I added that comment specifically for 1 ninja who mentioned doesn't have the WWA and not getting it (post #232). So I have the right to my personal liking as I just mentioned my preferences. I never attacked anyone, it was my view of the past releases and my personal view on the new Blufans.

@gregavfc @keyjey @fleurgasm Thanks soooooooooo much guys, you are suuuuuuupper friendly in the way you responded to me, it's really appreciated ! WOW !

At the end of the day, most of you are going to own this copy. You're either going to have it now, or pay more later. So far I'm happy with what I've seen from Blufans for this title. I would have preferred it to be glossy. Also, I think the original shield version was boring. IMO, it really worked well with the Taiwan release as the slip is gorgeous and compliments the steel design. I think this Blufans title will do very well, but the leaders still remain Taiwan and Japan.

To me the matte finish on this one makes perfect sense as it suits the overall rough appearance of the steelbook particularly with regard to the back cover. And from the pictures it looks really good and not cheap and streaky.
However, then again there is this little foul taste about this one being promoted as having gloss finish at the start and blufans losing the battle with scanavo which should not be!

I have the original HMV version, which I love. I was surprised how hot it got after it's release and still is. It was a beautiful steelbook, when beautiful gloss finishes were possible, compared to now. I don't know what happened?

To those that don't like the Blufans Captain America releases, that's easy... don't buy them. That's what I do with the crap that's thrown out there from Zavvi. I usually don't even view their release threads unless it's a favorite film, or something I might be interested in, or I just want a good laugh.

I could be wrong... but I don't think Blufans are going to get stuck with any of these. If they do, they can always do what Zavvi does... throw them out with their fabulous 4.99 - 9.99 sales! :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

news from kevin(yesterday):

"'I have just learnt the matte finish here is unlike the traditional matte finish we used to see. For the Blufans CA1 and CA 2 releases, what you are seeing is the new matte finish in use that is to apply a glossy paint first then matte paint at the end. That is why the final product looks bit shinny and glossy.'"

"Mossy or Glatte whatever you call it, it looks much better than the boring matte."

i can't understand, i didn't know there were "glossy paint" and "matte paint"..
and if so why would the first start with the glossy one to end with the matte one??
i thought a glossy finish came from a gloss ...

Difficult to understand why they would purposely cover gloss layer with a matte layer.
