Knew it would happen. Now every thread with suspect artwork is going to become a 'lets bombard Zavvi with emails and try and change everything cause we are the vocal minority who couldn't care less if people elsewhere are happy with current artwork' thread.

I might be wrong but since they are a profit oriented retailer they should listen to the customers opinion and since the moment they anounced the current artwork, there's pretty much only hate towards it - even more towards Thor.

In all honesty i cant see myself spending a cent on one of these cheap looking reprints, even if i still dont own the HMV's

Don't change this artwork its fantastic and I for one as a customer don't want it changed
Customers who got the HMV Steelbook as no relevance to this release as this is Zavvi Release

This release is from Zavvi and gives customers worldwide a chance to have a different Steelbook and for those who never had bought another release before

I Want this release and Thor to be as what I have ordered as in keep the artwork I expect to see as advertised
If a change is to happen it should be only done by Zavvi setting up a official poll on this site and then by a vote if that is not done then no change should happen

Note to respect other customers who don't use this site if a change was to happen by a vote it should be on there website and other forums like facebook and twitter with a link to the vote and this would also give HDN more notice as a excellent steelbook website

In my opinion Changing artwork that been created by a user from this website should at all times be only done after a Zavvi official vote poll is done and majority vote wins and that way is fair to all customers

Just said a similar think in the wreck it Ralph thread, now that they've changed it once everyone will be posting custom artwork in the hope they will do it again!

If the proposed new artwork is as frankly AWESOME as Bobas, why not change it? The current artwork is exactly the same as what's already available so what's the point in that?

If it hasn't happened by now it aint going to... unfortunately

1) I don't have any previous steelbook of this release
2) Should not be changed to any custom created artwork that was done by a HDN member without asking customer if they want that done

3) Most important respect the customers who have placed an order and if considering a change to custom art that's was created by a forum member get the permission by using a vote poll that's officially asked by zavvi to be set up and only then when a vote is taken

And if a original steelbook is good leave that way if every custom art was to be considered and voted on you would never have a release and will always end up not pleasing someone.

I'm all for special HDN exclusive chosen artwork releases as it does make them more exclusive and limited but you cant expect every release this happen

You can always cancel the order if the artwork changes and you decide your not interested anymore. Your order isn't set in stone

This steelbook isn't as nice as the HMV one. I still sort of hope to get that edition eventually.

You can always cancel the order if the artwork changes and you decide your not interested anymore. Your order isn't set in stone

Or people who don't like the artwork could just not order rather than try to make alterations that those who HAVE already ordered may not like.

Just saying, it works both ways.

The better the artwork the more Zavvi will sell. Simple. Like I stated in the Thor thread the artwork is poor so I and many others aren't ordering. Average films need outstanding artwork for me to consider buying or at least have a low print run.

I feel that the lazy artwork is due to it being Marvel and they think they will sell well whatever artwork they use.

The fact so many people are chipping in their two penneth worth shows that the current artwork is a contencious matter. i've ordered as i don't already own it, like the movie, would like the steel treatment.... but yeah, the current Zavvi art is LAZY.

I've actually reordered this and Thor. I already own both HMV versions, but I have a feeling that these have potential to be awesome, despite the 'lazy' artwork being used.

A few months ago, I asked whether this one would be cancelled because of Disney taking over old Marvel distribution rights from Paramount.
Cancelling now seems out of question, yet in the USA, Captain America, Iron Man & Thor will be re-released by Buena Vista in the USA, and not long after, in Italy. So it means that all Marvel/Paramount rights are reverting to Disney in Europe.
So do you think the steelbooks of Captain America & Thor will be distributed by Disney, and not Marvel for those Zavvi releases?
