Bought the HMV steel for £5.50 on ebay. Will do... Completes the collection and it has space for a 3D disc 
Will wait for a price drop om both 1 and 2. No way I'm paying that money. That 2£ discount is a joke
The artwork is as good a Blufans release. If it includes the full package (3D + 2D + BONUS BD) and gets full gloss/embossing then this is as good as a Blufans 1/4 release which has a price point of $58.

£5.50 is alot better than £22.99 lol for such a cruddy pixar film also. The hmv steel isnt actually all that bad. I have the HMV pirates steel and although i wish it matched the zavvi sets its a nice looking steel.
Do you think that all these "preordered now, but will cancel later" just help to confirm to Zavvi that the currently placed price is OK? From their point of view, the preorders keep coming. They probably see the (potentially) mass cancellations only days before the release.

My son loves these films, ordered the third but need to get hold of the first.
Have to say i don't really think that art matches the film as Lightning isn't main character in this one, it's Mater and Finns movie co-staring McQueen so surley they should feature in the front?

Don't believe this is sold out but there is a slim chance that it could be as looks like France and UK are sharing it.
No Blufans release for Cars as yet. What I meant was the artwork here is as good as what Blufans normally offers.
Looks like Disney France are ploughing their own furrow and have their own plans as far as steelbook releases go for that territory - plans which don't include CARS with the same artwork as the UK . . .
CARS already announced for Jan. 2018 release with different artwork and is one of fifteen Disney FNAC exclusive steelbooks to be released at that time:-
CARS 2 = not yet listed in France. . . could be in the 2nd wave next July . . . more than likely also with different artwork to the UK.
First wave Disney France FNAC titles (only 2 same artwork as UK releases . . . 10 out of 15 w/ French-language titles . . . all to be released in Jan. 2018 . . . all BD + DVD only . . . no 'bossing . . . spot-gloss on zero (reportedly) . . . all priced @€29.99):-

Not now it isn't, as it's back to pre-order.
I was suspicious of this and the other Cars going out of stock at the same time, and it seems Zavvi have now lowered the price to £17.99 each.
