Today about 10.20am UK.

SHIPPING UPDATES:
we know we asked you for a lot of effort and patience, but the waiting days were used to complete the renovations necessary to meet the delivery times for the next titles.
We are working tirelessly on shipments of Casino CMA # 15, Rocketman CMA # 16 and Johnny Mnemonic CMC # 01.
We will proceed according to a predetermined order:
26/27: International shipments (require more time for delivery) with priority for Group Buyers who need time for sorting.
These expeditions will continue until the end of the week.
28: International and Italian site shipments (delivery in 24/48 hours).
These shipments also include orders managed through the DVD-Store. These expeditions will continue until the end of the week.
29/30/31: Direct orders and combined shipments. These shipments are the most complex and take time to agree one by one.
We are aware of having had many delays and not having met the delivery dates and for this we apologize.
We are working hard to reduce discomfort and ensure the highest quality of the final product.
Thank you all for your support in these difficult times.

So, what Carlo did....
- Copy-paste previous messages (pleasse choose from 8 previous 'sorry-messages')
- alter previous messages (make sure to leave in the word 'sorry', it'll look good)
- refer to covid-19 and difficult times (people just have to understand that excuse)
- last but not least; Say you're working hard to solve this shite

Better to ask for forgiveness (of this .... up) instead of permission (to get your money 1 year ago with nothing to sell)....

Aside from the stereotypes you guys are talking about, and which are funny, there's plenty of honest and hardworking people in Spain and in Italy.
Germans and the Dutch (north west) usually shake hands and things WILL be done as agreed.
Let's not forget that Steel Archive was a German label... not Spanish or Italian. CM hasn't run off with anyone's money (yet? lol).
But I just think this is a company lead by cucumbers or cauliflowers. At least something/someone without commercial and ethic qualities.... Like we all know, rotten apples are found in orchards everywhere around the world ;)
Exactly, even in Germany where you can shake a guy's hand and he runs off with the money.

I think November and December are going to be key months. If they can deliver 2 releases or more per month, then they're moving in the right direction, really late, but better late than never.

What did you guys expect from a company that used artists' work without their consent and threatened anyone who dared call them thieves? Didn't that alert you? I do. That's why I never bought (and will not buy) anything. Open Paypal cases, it will teach them not to give a damn about collectors. With luck, this will lead them to stop their questionable business.

Exactly. FilmArena, Manta Lab, Plain, HDZeta, are really lovely and professional.

Now, seeing that you're understanding what they really are, I will say you more, that you probably don't know. First, they are really ridiculous and judge others' distribution houses for their "poor" quality, in some cases saying also that they are about to "vomit", refering to an Italian house, CG Entertainment, who makes start-ups to bring some less-known titles on Blu-Ray, and their editions are really great. They, then, judged Universal's Back to The Future packaging saying it is "******". Just to say, meanwhile, Universal gives them the Steelbooks editions to insert them into their CMA. This is ridiculous. And the funny thing is that you can see and hear these things on their Facebook LiveStreams. They also are claiming (to us, Italians) that The Goonies has Italian Dubbing Language thanks to their work with Warner Bros Italy, and so this allowed they to ******-Talk in a Live-Stream of a wonderful and HONEST Italian youtuber, who in a short video, say everyone that they can buy the UK edition of Goonies because anyway the disc is region free and it has Italian. He also reviews foreign editions like arrow or blue underground etc. etc., and luckily he is growing and German House Turbine is sending him their editions for free, sometimes.
That "******-talk" about this Italian youuber is now making him fall down. this is really sad.
Keep in mind this and every other thing you know about CM, like that time they have stolen artworks, every time they delay, and now surprisingly they block someone because he wanted to cancel an order? This is really funny, because in a live stream they they said "You can cancel your orders with us, we have no problem". Ridiculous.

CM, you had my attention. Not anymore.
Do you wanna really buy their editions now? Remember, what I wrote is not bullshit, learn Italian and watch what they do, you can clearly see everything.

**waiting for their next livestreams where they will say I am a liar...**
Didn't even know all of that, thanks for bringing that to the attention of us non-italians. What the hell. Companies like hdzeta and FAC may pull some weird things from time to time but if it is correct that CM has done all that then they should be ashamed and people should not want to order from them.

Ofcourse they can always improve and I won't have any problem with them, might even order from them one day. But if things like this keep happening less and less people will be ordering from them.

He only needs a few more pre-order editions for the right amount to live carelessly on a beach

Kidding of course, but the wait is frustrating.

Any chance any of the good folks @Wreck or @apsmith21 could reach out to CM about these delays?
I’m a realist and fully understand the issues with covid as well as company issues with premises move etc. I do get it and fully understand.

But the radio silence we are getting is starting to grind people, and I’m starting to get miffed too.

I want to support CM as I think their editions are great and have a few pre orders with them via HDN but the delays are ridiculous. The lack of transparency is starting to really verge on disrespect. I’ve tried contacting them through their website and heard nothing. If @duckandrun could come in here and fully explain what is going on and give us a GENUINE update, I think people would be more understanding.

We only want to know what’s going Carlos. It’s only fair.

Waiting on your response

@Steelselecta I'm guessing that @DMD4k may have answered what you are looking for. As for HDN's involvement I know that when Aniv hosted his group buys here for him he used CM's paypal address so that if ever any issue the claims went direct to CM and not the host. When I ran the last 2 group buys for him I did the same. If i recall usually you have protection in paypal for like up to 6 months. So I guess one has to weigh around the 5.5 half month mark? if its worth the risk to keep waiting. ie. it does not hurt HDN if one has to do a claim on those GBs as they are were simply pass through.

The only thing I can do is simply not open anymore of their group buys until we see some progress on what is on his plate already. Hopefully their update becomes reality and things get straightened out...

Thanks @Wreck
Agree, CM customer service and communication could be better
Hard reality is, I paid for Casino back in Nov. 12 months , 1 whole year is very long time
Granted, we are in a global pandemic, but that did not stop CM from announcing a flood of other releases in that time..

I have a lot of CM releases. Supported them right from the very beginning.

But now

I DON'T CARE WHAT THE EXCUSES AND REASONS ARE

WE NEED TO SEE SOME GODDAMN ACTION ON SHIPPING OF EDITIONS PAID FOR NEARLY 12 MONTHS AGO.

Thanks @Wreck

Entire Cine-Museum could be better, and their behaviour with other people could be better...

If cinemuseum had any decency they should at least offer their customers the option of a refund. Pandemic or not a year is unacceptable.

Whole week has passed and it seems like nobody got their shipping notifications.
Splendid.
It’s hard for me to imagine what exactly they are so busy with. Designing editions is arguably not that hard and time consuming once you have your art approved...I would imagine that the most time consuming thing is actaully putting everything together and prepare for shipping... but they did that only like 5-6 times in 2020, so what exactly are they doing during their work week?...in the end we finance that with all those preorders.
