Chuck Season 1 - 5 Complete Series[USA]

It looks like there will be a complete series release on blu-ray for the TV show "Chuck".

BestBuy USA is listing all 5 seasons together slated for a May 8th release:

The price is way too high at the moment but it would be awesome if there was a complete series release for this show as I loved this show. While the last half of season 4 and beginning of season 5 was kind of lame but they finished strong IMO and gave us a solid 4 and half years.


If any of you have seen the box set for the complete series of "The OC" which was Josh Schwartz last TV show before "Chuck" then this box set should be pretty awesome as well.

Im dying to get confirmation if there is going to be a "complete series" set of some sort for this series.

What I meant with packshot was that I didn't have a picture of the actual set yet.
Although I should say that no real details were provided other than the announcement. So we'll have to wait a little longer to see what the set contains.

thanks for the update Horhay. Im in dilemma wether to sell my first two seasons I own on blu for this or keep them and get the three remaining.

Just wanted to know if the complete series set was going to offer anything special ya know. I thought with a early May release something would have come up by now. Oh well... waiting patiently then

yeah. I mean Josh Schwartz was involved with The O.C. and this so I wouldn't be surprised if something really nice is released. Again like I said... just waiting patiently I guess, lol. Once this is out Im watching all 5 seasons again!

Although it is worthy to note Season 1 & 2 Bluray's that I have the picture quality of the transfers are sub-par. Maybe the complete series will have a better transfer? That alone would justify it IMO.

Yeah I get you, but sometimes it can be only a few weeks before they show the artwork.

If I didn't already have all four seasons released so far I'd be interested in this, but as it is I'll keep my pre-order for season 5. I wouldn't hold my breath for better video transfers, though, as none of the seasons already released have had very good transfers. Part of that is how they filmed it I think, they didn't use very good cameras.

^^^ Yeah I think if I had four seasons already I would be more reluctant. Its a shame about the transfers for sure. Even the live TV broadcasts in HD for the show weren't that great. A lot of people complained about it but nothing was ultimately done about it. Definitely has to do with the camera's they used on set it seems. The TV show industry is just confusing to me to be honest. I mean Friday Night Lights was filmed with super 16mm camera's and the HD broadcasts looked beautiful and then when the show ended no bluray release for the show at all, lol, only dvd! Im still bummed out about FNL not getting a bluray release as it was one of my favourite shows in the last decade. But you know how it goes if a studio doesn't think enough sales will come of it then no release.
