But the Steelbook inside is the same as you know and the disc has an extra special feature that seems to be exclusive to the UK / EUThis is nowhere near as attractive in comparison to the Kimchi Lenticular release.
I just wanted to add to this if I may.A note here-that is the furthest from the truth-Mods and Staff do not give any preferential treatment to members who are rude, argumentative or insulting to other members, regardless if they are premium members or not. Watched this yesterday and to be honest I loved the film.
Thought this was really well made and much better than Malificent.
The costumes and acting were great and Cate Blanchett as always was brilliant as the ugly/wicked stepmother.
Some really good humour too
Also I'm now in love with Lily James. She's perfect
Oh and Im a fan of the steelbook (just hate having no title on the spine)
Watched the frozen short too and to be honest it's pretty sh*t, it bored me.
The few points about this steelbook that I was unhappy about are :-I just received this. Quite like it, not bad steelbook. Would had preferred the title on the spine. It is what it is. Don't really see what the massive fuss is over.
What is it with Zavvi Disney steels that makes me wish half of them had their back art as the front :\
I agree I love the touch of Kenneth Branagh on this fairy tale brought to life while staying true to the Classic Story. I just think he did a brilliant job and I have seen it twice now and it won't be my last. It is just magical and got me giggling like a school Boy ...Everything in it is just perfect, my only criticism is that it isn't longer
On another note I have to Disagree with you in regards to Maleficent. I thought it was VERY clever for Disney to put a new twist to this Classic Story giving us a different Experience, a movie born from the Classic Story... I though it was exquisitely done, very enjoyable, beautiful stunning sceneries the special effects are wickedly done perfectly ! It is a Movie that I find one of Disney's best movie done last year and is in my High Top 10 movie for 2014. As Cinderella will be in my favorite top 10 movie for this year.
Taste is subjective, you may personally find that Cinderella was better made than Maleficent, but personally I have to disagree. The CGI is Perfect, movie is Enchanting and Captivating. I would say to be fair that they are Equally great in Different ways. I could go on and name everything for each movie that was perfectly done, but it's not needed as Visually both are just breathtaking and story wise as well both do each movie justice, both allow us to escape in the Wonderful world of Disney
I personally Love the Steel, It's not unusual for WWA Steel to have no title on the Spine or anywhere on the steel and we have seen it many times before and I find it no big deal. For those who dislike this so much there is always other country with Wonderful Slips that comes with the title less ones especially Taiwan does a great Job at Making Superb Classy Slips to go with WWA Steel. I love that with the slip on we see full shoe artwork and Title Classy on the 1/4 slip is placed at the Top of the Steelbook and the sides have the Title written on the slip folded over the spine of the steel, so on your bookshelf side to side you get the title, and facing front as well. Kimchi also did such an Insane Job with their FullSlips, I think it is the nicest Version out there. But whether or not with or without a slip with a Title on it, it is a beautiful Steelbook with embossed treatment with a superb Glossy Job.
RE: WORLD EXCLUSIVE ART
I may be in the minority on this international forum but as someone who has only bought U.K. steelbooks (to date) I have to say that I am not accustomed to the practice of no spine titles that other members find perfectly normal and acceptable.
In fact this is a very rare occurrence here in the U.K. to have to rely on a slipcover on a steelbook to see a title and I for one would really not like this to happen again.
The truth is that there are only between 5 - 10 out of approx. 750 U.K. steelbooks without titles on the spine so based on that fact you can see that it's not usual practice here even though it may be elsewhere.
