The question from hell from me.

From people that know me on here, know that I'm the biggest Batman maniac ever. The greatest superhero ever for me to be created.

Nolan and Bale recreated the magic of this for me with a magnificent trilogy of films. Probably the likes of which we won't see again. All you have to do is cast your minds back to Joel Schumacher's attempt at Batman to see how horribly wrong it can get.

But then you have Downey Jr and Iron Man. A match from heaven. Even before the first Iron Man film was announced, always been a big fan of Downey Jr. A very talented and very underrated actor. I still remember watching Iron Man for the first time and just completely in awe of what I'd just seen. Just pure perfection in terms of performance and you could easily say he was born to play Iron Man.

So the my long winded answer and it pains me a bit to say this is Downey Jr. Bale is a great Batman, but Downey Jr is a magnificent Iron Man. Just perfect and so characteristically and charmingly as good as you can possibly get.
