The clear HMV security tape can be peeled off slowly while pressing down on the shrink wrap underneath to stop it pulling away with the tape (that's if you want it left factory sealed). The white security tag underneath the black part of the tape will usually come off with a couple of quick tugs, but again it's all too easy to tear the shrink wrap if you're not careful. (Again not a problem if you're buying it to watch!) The key is just to do it all very carefully and to keep pressing on the shrink wrap to make sure it stays in place.

Yeah agree with you on that one. Only time I ever had any trouble was when the shrink was ripped to start with. Otherwise it's nice and easy, just take your time and the security tag is usually not stuck to shrink if it's buried under a couple of feet of tape.

My local HMV still have about 11 copies of this beast, picked up my copy today. Wasn't going to pick it up because im not a fan of the movie, but when i saw that it was deleted from the HMV site it spured me on to pick one up. Happy that a got a copy now before they sell out.

HMV is starting to annoy me as they have not fully refunded my 20 pound voucher that I used to purchase this. I cancelled my order as it was out of stock and then eventually deleted, but so far, they are deciding to hold 4.50 of my voucher and are not replying back to me (been 72 hours plus)

Thanks Dhiraj. I emailed them again and they replied quickly this time. They didn't resolve the issue but they let me know they would be forwarding it to the correct department. Not sure why it's so difficult but it's holding up a pending trade for me.

Thanks Guys re advice removing the tag and tape

I did my Ninja style operation last Sunday and picked up a few copies. The good thing about HMV @Selfridges is that you can return and get your money refunded
