I can't believe there isn't a thread in here strictly for Beer. Well now there is.

So I'm going to Phoenix and this store is about 3 miles from the house I am renting. I need some recommendations of beer they sell. I'm looking for Hoppy beers please. I've had a few of them they sell but not allot. HELP ME OUT!

Interesting. Now I've heard some good and bad on the ISO:FT. The BB Plead the 5th sounds really good though.

It was my favorite beer last year. Absolutely amazing. Highly sought after too.

On a side note this weekend Dark Horse is having their 4 Elf Party. They are releasing Bourbon Barrel Plead the 5th again!!! Last your their were only 38 bottles (750ml) total. This year their will be 288 cases (12oz) with a 2 case limit!!!. Cases are $130 and I am tempted to buy the limit unless they are releasing a bunch of other goodies we will see.

well if our good buddy splax loves the beer, sounds like we all need to try some. and if hes buying two cases, we all know where to get some!

I just saw that King Henry won't be making it's way into Missouri. Thankfully, I've got a lot of friends that live in Illinois!

Haha i still havent decided and it will probably be a last minute one as well. They are releasing other beers as well. I have to wait and see what they are before I decided whether to buy 1 or 2 cases. Plus on sunday Jolly Pumpkin is releasing La Roja Grand reserve so I will be stopping by there on my way home from Dark Horse to hopefully grab some of those bottles. Man do I hate beer.

I would possibly trade for one of those bottles of King Henry

Yes of course!!! BUT with all the money I will be spending this weekend, xmas, and Kuhnhenns Winter Solctice coming up I dont have any extra beer money lol

the first trip over to denmark with the train I could only get one small bottle all the big ones where sold out , they had some but the where reserved for the bar that the store have, on the next trip I brought my brother along and paid for his trip so I could buy double by having him buy one of each. nah gone sit on em for some years hoping they will evolve to much better then one I had which was really good, next years it time again. there´s loads of americans coming over to buy according to my work mate who a beer guru

I just finished bottling some home brew. It's a brown ale. Even before it's carbonated, I'm really liking how it tastes.

It ages very well. I got to taste one a few months ago that was about 6 years old. So good.

Today on the way home we stopped at Jolly Pumpkin and picked up my 3 bottles of La Roja Grand Reserve that was released today. Expensive but great weekend!!!

2 case limit = winning! thats an awesome beer haul. wish WI breweries did more brewery release only stuff.
