Let's be honest, I don't think very many of us enjoy having printed backs on our steelbooks, and a good percentage of us also prefer having English titles on them

So, I have starting making hybrids, combining the best parts of different steelbooks into one even better custom steelbook ;)

These are the 3 that I have done:

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes (United Kingdom front/United Kingdom spine/France back)

Sin City (Germany front/Canada spine/Canada back)

X-Men: First Class (United Kingdom front/United Kingdom spine/France back)

Has anyone else done the same thing or something similar? I would love to see some pictures or suggestions if you have!

*Of note, yes this does mess up the interior artwork (if there is any to begin with in either steelbook), but for me I care more about the exterior art then the interior art, so I don't mind

Wow really good mix of different countries to make a better looking SB. Also wish I had more versions to do this with as I hate printed backs.

Great work  but I have a few questions FanOfGaming; how did you open the Hitman G1's with the plastic teeth all around the metal casing? Also do the red colors match well?

The reds match quite well, the front is a bit more burgundy-tone then the back but it's not far off

I opened it using my usual old credit card method, I didn't notice it being any more difficult then the G2s though

Thanks for the update. My future project will be this and a combination of the Dishonored Futureshop Front with German Back. :scat:
