My take on a possible Black Swan Steelbook:
This one will be an instant hit. And even more so if it comes with that holographic slipcover from the German Limited Black Edition.

that Edward Scissorhands concert is literally one of the best images i have ever seen for any concept or released artwork for a steel... just wow!
Swith the front and back art, make the writing a bit smaller on the spine and you're there!
Here's some mock artwork for War of the Worlds. Hopefully the ones that Play is releasing with be similar.

I cannot believe that no one has released Black Swan SteelBook yet. It would be an ideal movie for a SB as seen from your design.

Was bored so just tried knocking up a white style DKR cover didnt come out to bad seeing as I don't have photoshop anymore

That's great there has to be a white cover release to match the Japanese steels

that's the way I see a Dawn of the dead (2004) BD steelbook:
the "Dawn of the dead" text on the front is a bit crappy due to the changed resolution, sorry for that!

kaw, I'd raise my hat to dude if i wore one but these are some amazing steelbook cases.
I wish you would do a tutorial on how to make these cos i'd love to have a try.

Welcome to HDN, Ken! Thanks for the kind words but we have a great community here filled with tons of amazing members with wonderful concepts and ideas for Steelbooks. Scan through this tread and you will see its bursting with creativity.
We all love Steelbooks and hope that maybe these designs would influence the studios to make them one day.
As of right now we don't have a tutorial on here for anyone to just come and build one. If you ask around, most of us play around in photoshop until we get a design we like. But I think it would be a good idea in the near future if we got a few designers together and made a step by step tutorial for everyone. Its been requested a few times so maybe its about time.
We love to see new designs and it would be great to see what you got.
I've checked the whole thread! Very beautiful artwork guys! The most of them must come out and another designs are better then the final versions!
