Received a parcel from the US today which was marked as a gift and a value of $24 but yet i was still hit with a customs charge ... i thought the UK was allowed upto £40 if it was a gift?
Customs sticker shows
Import Duty £0
Excise Duty £0
Royal Mail handling charge £8
VAT £3.11
Does anyone know how much is allowed as a gift before hitting customs?

Need some advice please folks.
Got my TDKR GB today from Blackberry. Don't know how but I got it delivered in error by Royal Mail as it had a customs charge sticker (£11.07) with a reference number on via Royal Mail .
This happen to anyone else and can I get chased for this charge later on?
Do they keep full records of this under their reference?
Obviously when they go to return it, they won't be able to find the parcel.

In the past amazon Japan , have allways asked me what is the Custom Tax ect, ect , as they pay it !!
I can only tell you to contact Cutomer Care and discuss it with them , as they are 110% awsome at Customer Care ..
they allways , ask me in message ~ please tell us all imprort duties , ect , ect .. I can look for message , but I allwasy destoy as we have a $1000.oo limit per day Cutoms Levey

Also... I'm not sure why this thread was moved, but I'm kind of concerned that nobody is going to see it tucked away in "SteelBook Chat/Support". Maybe it would work better in Steelbook Feedback as a Sticky? Just my opinion...

i got myself a very cheap duplicate steelbook of a film i already got some im thinking to actually make my own custom steelbook.
My first choice was a commando steelbook but then i saw this cool retro poster for running man so fought i would play around with the blu ray templates above
here is my first attempt:
ive just realized that there isnt a UK release of the film so it seems im going to go back to my first choice of commando. i actually quite like the metal effect so i could just simply use the official commando poster just like i did with the poster in Running man.
