Well I found out there was a blu-ray steelbook that slipped by a lot of us, if not all. On July 22nd 2008 Daft Punk's Electroma got a g1 debossed (front and back) blu-ray steelbook.

This was specially packaged in a metal SteelBook case with imprinted cover images and includes a 40 page perfect-bound book of stills from the film.

It was released for both Canada and USA.

NEVERMIND, I'm reading now that in early 2010 the title was still postponed on blu-ray.

The blu-ray in itself, (not steel) was released tho in Czech republic.

Wreck, any idea where it was sold? Amazon/Best Buy for instance only show a 'DVD' release for this title ('Electroma'), as far as I can tell?

Wreck, LOL...so is that a prototype, or was there a DVD Steelbook released? Trying to figure out where to move the thread to :hilarious:

I think it was about to happen but then didnt, the info in the OP was press release stuff I saw in regards to its release on blu-ray but then in Jan 2010 it still wasn't out on blu-ray. And I believe it still isnt besides Czech and maybe some other Countries as I saw one on ebay. (regular blu)

LOL...Yes, we do have an Eragon thread, but it's somewhere at the back, since it can't be purchased. I thought it would be confusing to people, as we usually only have threads open in here, for items actually released, or with some date of release. Otherwise people see it, and it looks like they can buy it, which is not the case. We also don't know if there will even be a BD or DVD Steelbook, so I took 'BD' out of the thread title. But if you want to keep it open, then just lock it when you're done, so we don't have outdated info, I guess.

Ok sounds good. Well there is a dvd steel release, and it was for sale to public and it seems there were 2 versions .. one with book and poster and one with book, poster, stickers.

I honestly don't think $1600 is an outrageous price. John Rambo went for that. And this is 1x Rambo's print run more rare. It is G1 though. If it was G2 I think the price could get in the actual insane range, $2500+.
